Director’s Note

“No One is Alone”This is a line from this production that best describes our process for “Into the Woods”. Our Cast and Crew have been working as a family day-to-day for the past few months to make this huge production come to life. Without the effort from each individual, whether it was a student, parent, or teacher, this show would have not made it to this point today.

“Into the Woods” tells a story of characters from different tales and how each action of each individual impacts another. It takes a team to solve problems. With the support of family, friends, and strangers it makes the journey easier to overcome life’s obstacles.

Westmark’s production of “Into the Woods” this year has been such a great experience for each student’s growth in the theater department as an individual, but also as a member of our Westmark Performing Arts Family.

The students here at Westmark have given me a wonderful first year here. So many students have stepped up to the plate and have had many opportunities to shine and grow in our program. I hope to see everyone from this production return next year to put on another amazing Westmark Performance. The team-work and support everyone gives is what makes this program special. Thank you to everyone for all the hard work you have put in to this production!
