Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park is comprised of 60,000 acres of majestic towering trees, rugged terrain, secluded lakes, spectacular waterfalls, pristine beaches and miles of wild rivers and streams. The park is located on the shores of Lake Superior in Michigan’s Western Upper Peninsula where the Porcupine Mountains are home to biggest and best tract of virgin northern hardwoods in North America.
