No. 5430/26.WHEREAS by section 33 of the Land Act, 1933-1939,it is made lawful for the Governor to direct that anyreserve shall vest in and be held by any municipality,road board, or other person or persons, to be namedin the order, in trust for the like or other public pur-poses to be specified in such order: And whereas it isdeemed expedient that Reserve No. 4144, at Parkervillc,should vest in and be held by the Mundaring RoadBoard in trust for the purpose of a Quarry: Now, there-fore, His Excellency the Lieutenant-Governor, by andwith the advice and consent of the Executive Council,60th hereby direct that the before-mentioned reserveshall vest in and be held by the Muadaring Road Boardin trust for the pcirpoe aforesaid, subject neverthelessto the powers reserved to him by section 37 of the saidAct.

    P.W. 533/43.WHEREAS it is enacted by section 4 of the LocalAuthorities (Reserve Funds) Act, 1942, that the Governormay, on the recommendation of the Minister, but subjectto the requirements of the proviso to the said section,by Order in Council, authorise a local authority toestablish during the present war and to maintain areserve fund for the purpose of accumulating therein anysurplus of ordinary revenue of the local authority overexpenditure at the end of each financial year of timelocal authority, and of applying the moneys in suchreserve fund, and any hicorne or profit derived from theinvestment of moneys in such reserve fnnd in the carry-big out after time cessation of time present n-ar of worksand undertakings, authorised by the Local GovernmentAct of the local authority which time local authority maynot be able conveniently to carry out during the presentwar: And whereas it is desirable that such a reserve fundslmall be established by the Perenjori Road Board:Now, therefore, 1-us Excellency the Lieutenant-Gover-nor, acting pursuant to the recommendation of theMinister, and by and with the advice and consent ofthe Executive Council and in exercise of the powerconferred by the said Act, after being satisfied as ic-quired by the proviso to section 4 of the said Act, dothhereby authmorise the Perenjori Road Board to establishand maintain a reserve fund, and cloth hereby specifyunder section 7 of the said Act that the amount of suchsurplus revenue to be paid into such reserve fund shallhe £848 us. lOd. under and for the purposes of thesaid Act.
