President's Comments
Happy New Year you all. Hard to believe the last that
2019 is already over! Doesn’t seem like it was that
long ago that we were saying the same thing last year
at this time. So far, the roads are easy to drive on and
the snow is staying in the mountains. How good is
that!
This month for our Social Hour on the 10th of January,
18:00, Westside Lanes and Fun Center, 1615 Wyo-
ming St., we have for our “There I Was” time, Dave
Mihalic and Will Deschamps telling their story, “Dave
and Will’s Greatest AirVenture, ” about flying to the
2019 EAA Fly-in at Oshkosh, WI this past summer.
You won’t want to miss this thriller!
For our Luncheon at the Doubletree the 17th of Janu-
ary, 11:30, Dr. Bill Whitsitt, Chairman of the USS
Montana Committee, will give us an update on the
construction progress of PCU MONTANA SSN 794
as she is being constructed on the East Coast.
She should be sailing soon, maybe this summer?

January 13thth if you are coming to the luncheon. If
your plans change and you cannot make it, please let
us know as soon as possible, because the count we
give to the Doubletree is what we pay for.
