• 340 Site surveys completed. • Firm dates for 831 sites.• May/ June 2015 for the Metro sites. • Wireless rollouts to follow• 10mb/ 100mb/ 1gb (30 seconds for a dvd)

• Specifications have been reviewed• Tender to be tabled 28 January 2015• Envisaged award in March 2015• Roll-out June 2015• 100% Wi-Fi coverage, +hostel open spaces
• WAN roll-out in project mode (site visits, April 1st school ON)
• LAN tender pending (closing 3 February 2015)
• CAT/IT refresh cycle approved (121 this year)
• 126 general ICT labs refreshed this year
• 3 350 classrooms in at least 248 schools SMART classrooms
