Joshua Anderson for Township Supervisor (2 year term)

Vote for Rajesh R. Kumbhardare and Joshua Anderson on November 5, 2019

• During my two years on the Historical Commission for West Whiteland Township, I helped save the Malvern Federal Building, designed a volunteer program for high school students, and served on the Thomas Mill Subcommittee.

• Six years ago, I established and continue to run the Tri-Bridges Chess Club, which is a free weekly gathering open to all in the community.

• I have been President of the Chess Journalists of America (CJA) for the past four years. • For the past nine years, I have organized/directed the Holly Heisman Memorial Tournament, one

of the largest annual charity chess events in the country. • Professionally, I teach after-school lessons for Shining Knights Chess, I instruct private chess

students, and publish articles about chess and football history. • These experiences have convinced me it is necessary for our Supervisors to take an active role in

how the Township is managed, by focusing on how we can use our various assets to create a strong sense of community.

• I am especially interested in how the Township can maintain its historical integrity while balancing the need for reasonable development, infrastructure improvements and stopping the intrusion of the pipeline.
