FroM tHe CoaCH“West Adelaide Football Club is OUR club. Like no other club, our club belongs to its people. No one here possesses a

sense of entitlement. Such traits have never been tolerated. Rather, it has always possessed an earthy feel, a distinct

sense of being inclusive, hard working and welcoming - the team for all people who have a high regard for these values.

It is a huge honour to coach the Bloods, just as it was to be the 963rd player to play league football for the Club. At the

conclusion of season 2013, 1360 players had played league football for West Adelaide. This puts a perspective on one

person’s place in this Club’s past, present and future. It tells us all that the Club is an enduring entity.

Our aim as a club is to win premierships. This can only be achieved as a club unit. Our powers to overcome as a total club

have been and will be tested again and again, both on and off the field. That trademark West Adelaide unconditional

support and effort from the people of the total club will continue to serve us well in our quest to achieve and share the

success we are all striving for.”

about tHe benCHtHe benCH is one of the most iconic parts of the West Adelaide Football Club. It plays an integral part of the

game and has been a seat for West Adelaide’s greatest throughout our club’s incredible history. It has seen an

array of emotions from our passionate supporters through the good times and the bad. It serves as a reminder

of what this club has achieved and overcome. It represents the Club’s past, it’s longevity and most importantly

it’s future. It stands for every single person who has ever walked through the oval’s gates, been proud to call

themselves a Bloods supporter, or has shed blood, sweat or tears for our club.

This season we are asking you to get on tHe benCH and support the Bloods. Your support and financial

contributions this year will play a vital role in our journey to reach the ultimate goal and once again become a

premiership side. It will ensure our facilities are of the highest standard, that we offer strong player development

at both youth and senior levels, and most-importantly that OUR club stays strong and committed to achieving a

WaFC Futures FundIn 2013 the West Adelaide Football Club set out to protect the future of our club. We called this our Futures Fund. The West Adelaide Football Club Futures Fund will be used to ensure that our facilities are second to none, that our youth programs help develop our future players, and that the Bloods are here, for the long-term future.

We’re asking for members to invest into the Future Funds by way of a donation. With your contribution, we can ensure our clubs longevity, your name will be etched into our commemorative club bench and permanently etched into West Adelaide history.
