10:00 a.m. Dog Visit – Enjoy a friendly visit with our therapy dog(s). – Sunroom

2:00 p.m. Bingo – See if you hold a lucky card and can win a prize! – Activity Room

3:30 p.m. Wii Bowling - Enjoy a bit of friendly competition playing this interactive bowling game on the big screen TV with our volunteer Samantha. If you don’t want to play, why not come down and cheer on our bowlers! – Activity Room

6:00 p.m. Saturday Night Movie – “Mrs. Lambert Remembers Love” –Widowed and still mourning the death of her son, Lil’s last cherished reflection of the past is her grandson. When Social Services suspects that Lil’s diminishing mental capacity could jeopardize him, they work to place him with his greedy uncle. Fearing the inevitable, Lil packs her bags and she and her grandson head toward unknown destinations and a hopeful future. The movie stars Ellen Burstyn and Walter Matthau.– Activity Room (Movie is approx 1 ¾ hours long)

1:00 p.m. Sunday Movie – “Dragonfly” – Dr. Joe Darrow is a man distraught over the violent death of his wife. But is she really dead? Suddenly Joe is confronted by a series of haunting messages, impossible coincidences, and unsettling encounters. With each event Joe becomes more desperate until he begins to suspect the shocking truth. The film stars Kevin Costner and features Kathy Bates. – Activity Room (Movie is approx. 1 ¾ hours long)

3:00 p.m. FIFA World Cup Final Game – Watch the match between Germany and Argentina on the big screen and see who will win the 2014 FIFA

3:00 p.m. Ice Cream Social – Enjoy social time with your neighbors and our volunteers Riana and Sara. Today we are serving Pistachio Nut ice cream. Vanilla will also be available. - Sunroom

3:30 p.m. Scrabble with Peers – Keep your mind sharp by playing this classic board game. – Sunroom (note change of time today)

11:00 a.m. Kitchen Sink Exercises – This 15-minute standing exercise routine will help strengthen your legs and improve your balance. - Sunroom

1:30 p.m. Dining Open Forum – Meet with the dining services staff to offer feedback on your dining experience at Wesley Heights. – Activity Room (kitchen side)

2 – 4:00 p.m. Therapeutic Massage - Certified therapeutic massage therapist, Claire Fox, will offer soothing and healing massages. A fifteen minute massage costs $15 and a half-hour massage costs $30. Please call the front desk (203-929-5396) if you would like an appointment. – Activity Room (chapel)

3:30 p.m. Happy Hour – Enjoy social time with your neighbors and with our volunteers Joanne and Frank. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available.

10:00 a.m. Meditation with Pete – Practice techniques that will help you relax and find peace and inner tranquility. – Activity Room

11:00 a.m. Zumba – Keep fit and flexible while exercising to a Latin Beat!– Activity Room

12:45 p.m. Hymns for Renewal – Activity Room Chapel

2:00 p.m. Ten Cent Bingo – Pay 10 cents per card to play. Winner of each game takes the money in the pot. If more than one person wins a game, the pot will be split. Gather up your dimes and see how much money you can win! – Activity Room

6:00 p.m. Wednesday Night Movie – “High Noon” – Gary Cooper stars as a lawman who stands alone to defend a town of cowardly citizens against a gang of revenge seeking criminals. The film also stars Grace Kelly and Lloyd Bridges. – Activity Room

1:30 p.m. Trip to Jones Winery – If you signed up for the trip to Jones Winery in Shelton, CT for a wine tasting, please meet promptly in the front lobby. Cottage residents will be picked up at their doors.

3:30 p.m. Pokeno – Join our volunteer Kristin to play this game that is very similar to Bingo but playing cards are called instead of numbers. When you have “Pokeno” (5 chips in a row) you win a dollar! – Activity Room
