Are you looking for a deal?

Last time we talked I told you how I never went looking for a deal, this time around my attitude is a little different because rappers get deals now and get lazy. Which is really messing the game up. I do this for fun now if this becomes a job where people want to start paying me I'm telling you right now hands down I'm the greatest active rapper incarcerated or free. I come from a tradition of hard work and the indie game is cool but let someone else foot the bill so I can just be a rapper and focus on that. If you think I'm dope now, wait till they cut the check........all respect to Lil Wayne but my work ethic will surpass his. My people got families to feed.

The Reason

Honestly its just about accomplishing childhood goals and getting paid to do what you love, I changed my perspective after graduating from college. You go to school to get a good job and the industry tells you about 360 deals. However when you think about it when you graduate from school you looking for a career. Essentially you'd break your neck to get a 360 deal in regular corporate America. If I design games for Sony or Microsoft I'm not getting the bulk of that game money. But I'm getting paid in that top tax bracket. I've been a hustler my whole life and you have to be adaptable. Profit sharing and all that I get so you gotta know how to flip what you have. As long as the company has a vested interest I'm gonna keep getting money and as long as I have a brain I will have non music related ventures that make money.

What's next

Directly I'm directing a short film in Atlanta in June its untitled as of right now but I really wanted to get into some visual art of sorts and the opportunity provided itself. Going to Japan in September to perform. Really hoping to expand the FMG brand (my management) (www.IMAFLYCAT.com). I'm executive producing a few albums coming in the fall. 7th Letter also has a solo project coming so we'll be in the studio working that. He produced 13 of the 15 tracks on the album.

Plans for the next 5 years

Life happens, so I've adopted the theory that as long as I'm further than I am now and happy with my situation I'm good. Things go correctly I'm retired from the rat race and my people are good. Life is too short to live short so I gotta grow.
