Anna Gott from Bluebell Wood came into the college on the 10 th July, Sports day, to be presented with a cheque for the charity. Anna was amazed at how much effort and enthusiasm had been put into the fund raising this year and wanted to say a massive thankyou to everyone involved. Events this year have included cake sales, raffles, world record lunge, mile challenge, ‘The Voice ‘ and a staff vs student quiz. The money raised will go towards supporting the charity, which offers care and support to children with a shortened life expectancy, both in their own homes and at the hospice in North Anston. - See more at: http://www.bluebellwood.org

Another year is almost over and once again we say goodbye to another year 11 group of students. The prom and leavers ceremony were a huge success so it’s just for us to wish you all the best and hope you get those exam results you need for post 16. Enjoy your summer!!Wentworth pastoral team

Shay Evans in DWS completed the Yorkshire 3 peaks challenge and raised over £200 for McMillan. The Yorkshire Three Peaks Challenge takes in the peaks of Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough, the distance is 24.5 miles, and has to be completed in under 12 hours. These peaks form part of the Pennine range, and encircle the head of the valley of the River Ribble, in the Yorkshire Dales National Park and has 5200 feet of ascent. Not as easy as it sounds then!A Massive well done to Shay, Wentworth are very proud of you!

Please remember it is important that the school has up to date emergency contact details. In the event of illness/accident in school we need to be able to contact parents/carers.
