VIRTUAL REALITY BASED SIMULATED E- LEARNING FOR

OIL & GAS

Page 2: Wellsite VR

LearnersEdge is reinventing oil & gas training in the wellsite. Our virtual reality enabled e-learning course targets to give you an understanding of

onshore and offshore production facilities, wellsite operations and equipment. Professionals from the Oil & Gas sector will experience the

virtual wellsite in a realistic and safe environment.

No Powerpoint presentations! Learning will not be delivered though Powerpoint, not even one! Course mentors will move beyond the conventional methods in the class room sessions to ensure your learning is effective.

Learn from Real World Experts Learn from relevant real industry experience, and help transfer knowledge and skills to your organisation. Practice all the required skills in a no pressure environment with your colleagues with guidance of a mentor. Build your skills set as you progress.

Latest Learning Technology Be dazzled with the latest Virtual Reality (VR) 3D learning technology. Experience wellsite visits, 3D equipment demonstrations and task driven simulations, and all in a safe virtual world. Your VR journey is supported by an online platform, further developing your learning.

Learning At Your Doorstep You can simply learn as you go, anywhere in the world, by downloading learning content through your mobile App. Access learning support and communicate with your course mentors through your mobile device, providing you convenient and fast turarounds.

Why choose WellsiteVR Awareness Training

• Immersive - Get a ‘sense of presence’ in a simulated environment

• Realistic - Learn and apply new skills in a

realistic and controlled manner

• Safe - Be able to simulate dangerous or risky manoeuvres to perfect your understanding

• Convenient - Access training where ever you through using your hand phone and headgear

• Cost effective - no travel and accommodation expenses required; learn where you are based;

on-shore or offshore

• Retention - Improve your retention of your learning, as seeing and doing is better than just

listening or reading.

• Simplifies - visualisation of complex concepts and theories is made easier to understand

Who will benefit from Wellsite Awareness Training?

This virtual reality based e-learning course is targeted at personnel from operator and service companies in the

upstream oil & gas sector in the following job roles:

New engineers entering petroleum engineering, production engineering, production technology, completions, well

interventions and well engineering disciplines

This course can also be selectively applied for basic awareness training for non-technical professionals:

1) Non-technical support personnel involved in

wellsite operations

2) Finance, commercial, administration, legal, sales, marketing, business development, procurement, logistics, IT, HR, supply chain, strategic planning,

offshore marine

3) New industry entrants or professionals from other disciplines entering the upstream oil & gas industry

4) Health and safety awareness training
