Well Stimulation
What are your concerns?
• Paraffin and asphaltene build up?
• Pipeline plugging?
• Corrosion?
• Scaling?
• Plugged Perforations?
• Disposal and injection well plugging?
Process
Pumping wells build up heavy residual material, paraffin and asphaltene, to the point where the well stops pumping and can become stuck.
The first point of cooling in the well begins across the perforations and has no where to go but back into the formation.
Process
Process
A batch treatment of produced H2O and our surfactant (PSI-WS7) will free up the well and keep it clean for an extended period of time.
• We require the depth of the well, the pH of the produced water, formation type, tubing and casing size.• We determine the volume of water required to do an over-balance across the perforations.• We squeeze the blended surfactant into the near well-bore.• We flush the materials that have been occluded over time, allowing for better inflows.
Process
Once the surfactant is down the well and the pump is moving the surfactant will wet the entire system and release large volumes of occluded material from the well.
Process
Injection Wells
Treatment process essentially the same as producing wells.
We overcome well pressure forcing our surfactant into the perforations and the near well-bore.
Our Surfactant – PSI-WS7
• Very effective demulsifier.• Very effective Drag Reducing Agent (DRA).• Corrosion inhibitor.• Paraffins and asphaltenes become re-suspended,
making the water more miscible.• Effective Wetting Agent.
Our Surfactant – PSI-WS7
• Our surfactant is a charge soap or by technical definition an anionic product.
• It has an affinity for any positively charged surface, anything carbon or stainless steel. It is drawn to the steel where it will film out and maintain a wet surface.
• Typically wells under 1,000 barrels (160 m3) per day respond the best.
Benefits of Our Surfactant - PSI-WS7
• Our surfactant is multi faceted.• PSI-WS7 is very safe to use and is 100% water soluble.• For wells with no produced water the surfactant can
be mixed with a light crude oil where it will disperse with the carrier fluid so water will not be introduced.
The Application
The Application
During the treatment process the operator will observe the surface pressures and during the batch will swing the valves allowing the tubing to pressure up and then release it until the well is pressuring up easily and prime is re-established on the well.
Formations Treated
Over the last 20 years our surfactant has been successfully applied throughout the entire Western Canadian Sedimentary Basin in limestone, shale and sandstone formations where heavy paraffin and asphaltene crude oils are being produced.
