At the age of42 he met Gandhi Ji.Many a times the Owner, Tushar Dalal was toldby his Grandfather Manibhai Dalal that Gandhi Jistayed one night at this Haveli and that nightGandhi Ji told him that “Manibhai, Khap PurtuHoy Toh Lok Seva Karjo” which means “If youhave enough for a living, do Social Service”.This statement inspired him so much that hisentire life changed from that single minute. Hedecided to quit his modern lifestyle and movedon the path of social welfare. With this selflessmotive, he decided to serve people till the rest ofhis life till the age of 84.
