The congregation is invited to the baptism class on Sunday, April 15, at 9:30am. When you know that you follow Jesus Christ, the next step is to follow Him in baptism. We will answer questions like “what exactly is baptism?”, “why do we get baptized?” and “when should I be baptized?”. Parents are encouraged to attend with their students.

Next Sunday is Food Drive Sunday! Any commercially canned or packaged food within their freshness dates, toiletries and paper products should be placed in the bin located in the Welcome Center.

You and your friends are warmly invited to a special event for

women on Friday, April 6 at 6:30pm in the Multi-Purpose Room. Our theme is The Risky Place of Faith, and together, we will

worship, pray, and listen to a classic prerecorded message from Priscilla Shirer, daughter of Tony Evans. We desire to be intentional in growing intergenerational community, and this is a fantastic opportunity to connect with women of all ages. Invite your Bible study, your LifeGroup, your daughters, your sisters, and your friends. It's going to be a sweet night!

Men — Join us for a Wild Game Banquet on Friday, April 27 at 6:30pm. Come and enjoy this potluck evening where men have taken the meat from

this year's hunting and fishing season and transformed it into a dish to pass. Even if you’re not a hunter/fisherman, bring a salad or dessert to share. Bring your friends, your sons, and men who love wild game.

The evening will feature our speaker, Tom DuBois, from Rugged Cross Outdoors. Rugged Cross Outdoors exists to "go out into the outdoor world and share the good news of Jesus Christ." A free-will offering will be taken. Sign-ups start Sunday, April 8.

CARE PACKAGES Last fall, our College & Career ministry sent care packages to half of our college students who are living on campus―wherever they may be. This spring, we’d like to send packages to the second half of students. Please consider helping with this by bringing in donations for the care packages and placing them in the "College Care Package Donations" bin in our church office. Below is a list of suggested items. Donations will be collected through next Sunday.

Holy Week

On Maundy Thursday, we commemorate the Last Supper. The word “Maundy” comes from the Latin word for commandment, seen in Jesus’ teaching at the Last Supper of a new commandment to love one another (John 13:31-35, ESV).

Join us this Thursday at 7pm for a communion service in the MPR.

On Good Friday, we commemorate Jesus’ sacrifice for us. Gather with Christians around the community on March 30.

The combined Good Friday service will be held at Southside Church this Friday at 1pm & 5:30pm.

Come celebrate our risen Savior on Easter Sunday, April 1, at 8, 9:30, or 11am. Children’s programming will run as usual, except that grades 1-6 will be combined during the 9:30am hour. Student Ministries and Equip will not meet on Easter Sunday.
