Constitution Changes
5. All voting, for each of the vacant posts will be “first past the post” (highest number wins), indicated by a single cross. 6. Where a vote is necessary for both Issuer vacancies and Service vacancies those candidates with the highest votes will win the vote. If one vacancy could go to either an Issuer or Service member a separate vote may be required to fill this vacancy. The candidate with the highest vote wins, if the highest polling candidate has already secured a vacancy as the highest polling Issuer or Service member then the next highest candidate wins. 7. Each Issuer and Service member will have the same number of votes as per vacant posts, (i.e. 3 vacant posts = 3 votes). 8. In the event of 10+ nominations being voted for and the 9th and 10th nominations have the same number of votes, the decision for post 9 will be made by the toss of a coin by an impartial member at the next full UK Gift Card & Voucher Association meeting.

In the event of a tie for the last vacancy the position goes to the candidate achieving the highest number of the top scores. E.g. if the top score is 8, then the candidate with the highest number of 8’s gets the place. If neither candidate scored any 8’s then it goes to 7’s, then 6’s etc.
