PRAYER OF THE DAY

P: Let us pray.

All: God of glory and love, peace comes from you alone. Send us as

peacemakers and witnesses to your kingdom, and fill our hearts

with joy in your promises of salvation; through your Son, Jesus

Christ our Lord. Amen

PSALM 145:8-14 - Melody: Fred Til Bod 77 77 77

The Lord is gracious and merciful,

slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.

I will praise you, God my King;

Ev'ry day my thanks I'll raise. The Lord is good to all, and his compassion is over all that he has made.

Let the whole world join to sing

Songs of your exalted praise. All your works praise you, O Lord, and your faithful servants bless you.

They will speak of the glory of your royal power and tell of your might.

Let all creatures, great and small,

Praise the Lord, who cares for all! Everyone will know your mighty deeds

and the glorious majesty of your kingdom.

I will praise you, God my King;

Ev'ry day my thanks I'll raise. Your rule is eternal, and you are King forever.

Let the whole world join to sing

Songs of your exalted praise. The Lord is faithful to his promises, and merciful in all his acts.

Let all creatures, great and small,

Praise the Lord, who cares for all!
