Welcome to week 10

Our Athletics carnival was a great success. Congratulations to all our students who participated with great enthusiasm. A special shout out to those age champions who will go on to represent our school at the district carnival. The complete district team will be announced early next term. It was marvellous to have so many parents at school supporting the children, and helping out. A big thank you to Rowena and Mark Sutton for donating our BBQ lunch which was enjoyed by all.

This Friday we are off to Griffith to see the Twits. A great reward for all the children’s hard work this term.

Thank you to our P & C for funding the bus to the Rankin’s Springs Round Robin. It’s the first Friday next term. Notes will be sent home Monday next term, both permission and canteen order. We are seeking your help to return them promptly.

As this is the last newsletter for Term 2, I would like to wish all of our families a very happy holiday. Term 3 commences Monday, 22 July 2019.

Congratulations to Rowdy Thompson who is our Citizen of the Week. Rowdy has worked diligently in class this term and always gives his best. Rowdy is also a kind friend who plays responsibly during recess and lunch. Good job, Rowdy!

Lost Clothes

Please check the Lost Property pile, which can be found in the kitchen. We have a large tub,

overflowing with clothing. There is also a tum marked ‘FREE

UNIFORMS’ which we encourage you to look through as well.

As the term is drawing to a close, it is important that all

Library books be returned ASAP. Thursday is the last

opportunity to return the books. They can be left in the office on Di’s desk with a note indicating who borrowed them.

Thank you!

Parent Teacher

Interviews have been moved to Thursday, Week 1, Term 2.

Enjoy your 2 week break from school!

See you on Monday

22nd July.
