Welcome to the Fox Golf Academy!
The Fox Golf Academy is located at the beautiful Fox
Meadow Golf & Country Club in Stratford, Prince Edward
Island, just minutes from downtown Charlottetown. From
the moment you arrive you will be greeted by first class
service and hospitality, golf instruction by Class A PGA of
Canada professionals and breathtaking views overlooking the
Charlottetown Harbour.
The Fox Golf Academy welcomes all ages, skill levels and group sizes to our facility. In a fun and relaxing
atmosphere, our goal is to grow the game by making it easier for you!

Our Facility
The Fox Golf Academy is located beside the Fox Meadow Golf & Country Club. Whether you are working
on your full swing on the large practice range, your short game at one of our many large practice greens,
or taking an on-course lesson on the championship golf course at Fox Meadow, our environment will
allow for an enjoyable learning experience!

game! Our team of instructors currently includes the 2011 PGA of
Canada Atlantic Player of the Year and Assistant Professional of the
Year!
Private Lessons
Private Lessons
Have trouble with something specific in your
game? Allow us to help! Private Lessons are
available by appointment and are 45 minutes in
length. Allow us to work one-on-one with you on
your full swing, putting, chipping, bunkers,
pitching or any other aspect of your game that
needs improvement!
45 minute private one-on-one lesson - $45 plus gst
45 minute private 2 person less - $35 plus gst per person
Pack of 5 individual one-on-one lessons - $180 plus gst
On course lesson, one-on-one, 9 holes at Fox Meadow - $99 plus gst per 9 holes

Short Game School
What is the easiest way to lower your golf
scores? Improve your short game! Tour
professionals take 60% of their shots during a
round within 100 yards of the hole, and this
percentage is higher among amateur players!
We’ve designed a golf package for the player
who is serious about improving their golf
score, our Short Game School!
Spend 3.5 hours with one of our professionals
working on the scoring clubs! Your putting, chipping, pitching, greenside bunker shots and
wedge shots. This school is a maximum 1:4 student-instructor ratio for the best learning
experience possible.
Cost: $140 plus gst per person
1-Day School - $249.95 per person ($229.95 per person for two or more)
3.5 hours of instruction (either 8:30-12:00pm or 1:30-5:00pm)
Lunch at our Fox Den Restaurant operated by Rodd Hotels & Resorts (12:00-1:00pm)

Ladies Camps
We are proud to offer a ladies only camp at the Fox Golf Academy. This camp is 5 weeks in length and
runs on Monday & Thursday nights from 6:00 to 7:00 pm. Skills covered include putting, chipping,
pitching, full swing and more!
We will be offering three sessions throughout the season!
Mondays
Session 1- June 4th-July 2nd Session 2 – July 9th-August 7th Session 3 – August 14th-September 11th
Thursdays
Session 1- June 7th-July 5th Session 2 – July 12th-August 9th Session 3 – August 16th-September 13th
Cost: $120 plus gst
On the final night of each session all participants will be treated to a wine and cheese social at the Fox
Den Lounge!

Junior Lessons
Daytime Junior Camps
Looking for something for your kids to do during the summer days? Our daytime junior camps are
available beginning in July! Monday-Friday for 5 weeks in duration, we have two camps running per
day. The morning group operates from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm, and our afternoon group runs from 1:00
pm-4:00pm. A maximum student: instructor ratio of 8:1 is guaranteed.
Cost: $150 plus gst per junior
Junior Clinics
What would the game of golf be without its juniors? They are the future of the game! Here is a list of
junior camps we offer. Camps are open to juniors of all skill levels and a fun and enjoyable learning
environment is promised! Junior Camps take place on Tuesday evenings and are five weeks in duration.
Camp 1 – May 22nd to June 19th Camp 2 – June 26th to July 24th Camp 3 – July 31st – August 28th
Tuesdays from 4:30-5:30 pm (ages 12 and under) and 6:00-7:00 pm (ages 13 and up)
Cost: $80 plus gst
Skills Learnt: putting, chipping, full swing, golf course etiquette
Elite Junior Camp
Have a junior golfer ready to take their
game to the next level? Is thinking
about or already competing in
tournaments? Is serious about the
game? Our Elite Junior Camp will give
serious juniors the opportunity to take
their games to the next level.
Cost: $350 plus gst for 18 weeks of instruction every Saturday from 9:00-10:30 am beginning May 26th
through September 22nd. This camp will be a chance for junior competitors to prepare for Order of
Merit tournaments, provincial and regional events as well as school golf in the fall.
Areas we will focus on to excel the players’ games:
Proper technique for all aspects of their game (full swing, short game, putting etc)
Video analysis of all aspects of their game
How to make the most of your practice time using proper practice habits
Golf psychology
Golf Fitness
Golf Nutrition
Statistic tracking from their rounds to determine what areas we need to improve on
Course Management
Preparing for tournaments
Regular skill testing to determine weaknesses
Club fitting session with Titleist Fitter to determine player is playing proper equipment

Open Evening Clinics
Throughout the golf season we will be hosting
open clinics at the Fox Golf Academy! Clinics will
typically take place on Wednesday night’s from
6:00-7:00 pm at a cost of $20 per person. Each
clinic will focus on a different skill to assist all
aspects of your game!

Golf Psychology Lessons
Golf is a tough game, let’s face it. What often set’s
players apart from others is their mental approach to
the game. Over the course of 18 holes which
typically takes four and a half hours, you are only
swinging the golf club for less than five minutes! This
leaves a lot of time for thinking! It’s been proven
that a good mental game leads to better golf; allow
us to help you improve your mental game!

Custom Titleist Club Fitting
We at the Fox Meadow Golf & Country
Club are proud of our close relationship
with the Titleist brand of golf equipment. It is the brand chosen by our teaching professionals, the
brand of choice in our pro shop, and the brand of choice to fit for at our School of Golf. We follow their
slogan, “Serious Clubs for Serious Golfers”.
Club fitting can make a tremendous difference in a person’s golf game. Drivers can be tweaked with
Titleist’s impressive computer technology to go straighter and farther, Irons can be hit higher, farther
and straighter simply by switching club heads or shafts, and putts can run truer with a properly fit
putter. All of these things can be fit by our Titleist Fitting Expert, Cody McKay.
Cody has spent the past few fitting golfers of all skill levels. Using Titleist’s computer software, he can
determine exactly what club will help you get the most out of your game!
Did you know: A set of irons purchased off of the rack sit at a standard lie angle. For every single degree
that set of irons does not fit you, you are going to be off line by 7 yards on a perfect golf shot! For
example, someone that is using a standard set of irons but should be using a set that is 3 degrees
upright, they’re golf ball will travel 21 yards to the right on perfect golf swings! The game is hard
enough, why make it harder with clubs that do not fit your personal swing!
$50 + gst per 1 hour fitting session. After your fitting session, if you choose to purchase, we can
order your custom Titleist clubs directly through our pro shop at the best prices out there! We
won’t be beat!
