Welcome to the 7th Young Researcher Meeting in Turin 2016
Welcom Letter an na Progra
On behalf of the host institution for 2016, the Italian National Metrology Institute
- Istituto Nazionale di Ricerca Metrologica (INRiM), we welcome all the
participants and guests to the 7 th Young Researcher Meeting.
We would like to thank all participants for the remarkable quality of their scientific
contributions and the enthusiasm which made the organising process (still onward)
so joyful and educational.
One distinguished senior scientist of INRiM has accepted our invitation to give a
lectio magistralis (Walter Bich). Three invited speakers have also kindly accepted to
give their valuable contribution to this meeting: Dr. Elisa Palazzi, Dr. Fabio
Sciarrino and Dr. Andrea Giachero.
We are grateful and fortunate to include a number of sponsors, non-profit
association, other institutions as partners in the conference: LOT-QD (best poster
award), Crisel, Teledyne-Lecroy, ID Quantique, CalRef, Anton Paar, Pfeiffer
Vacuum, Find Your Doctor and The Astrophysical Observatory of Turin (the visit
at their facility will be on day #2).
We also would like to thank a lot all those researchers at INRiM who gave their
availability to host the “Labs Tour” on day #3.
