Dear Friends,

Welcome to the REED Foundation for Autism’s third annual community breakfast. The REED community was created 15 years ago when a small group of parents came together, desperate and determined to find the right education for their children with autism. Since then, our community has grown in numbers and in passion. Today we celebrate two standout members who have been close to our hearts and dedicated to our mission since joining our family more than a decade ago. Beth and Arthur Picciano have truly earned the Community Impact Award. This energetic and empathetic duo has demonstrated an unparalleled commitment to charitable giving to the REED Foundation for Autism and other worthy causes throughout Bergen County. A fixture in the community, their organization, Ramsey Auto Group, has given immeasurable support to local organizations and events, including the Ramsey Police Department, the Ramsey Summer Concert Series, and so much more. Most notably, Beth and Art helped launch Go the Distance for Autism, North Jersey’s largest charity cycling event, and chose REED to be a recipient of the Subaru Share the Love initiative. Amazing things have happened at REED thanks to our entire community, and in particular to Beth and Art and their family. We’ve witnessed REED Next, our adult day program, come to fruition, and we continue to introduce new programs and services at REED Academy. Our successes are shared by every one of you, and we look forward to jumping more hurdles and reaching more milestones in the years to come.
