TEDDI has been going to school for a total of 20 years, including primary school which he graduated in 1987. The fol-lowing year he worked in agriculture picking berries and then started in high school which he finished in 1990. TEDDI then took some time away from the school books to travel around Europe before starting in technical school to study radiogra-phy and graduated in 1997. During the past 11 years TEDDI has been working in several hospital radiography depart-

ments and he feels content working with patients, being car-ing and helpful. In his own words, the job suits him perfectly. TEDDI’s goal is to get a Master’s degree in radiography. His former jobs include being a paperboy, factory worker, working in a storage facility and on farms. His native language is Dan-ish and he also speaks English and German. TEDDI has not served in the military.

Which words describe your personality? Helpful and friendly, and extremely loyal. But also quite stub-born.

Describe your strong sides: I am versatile in the sense that I am bookish, but also good at using my hands. I think I am quite good at finding alternative solutions for problems. And sometimes being stubborn is also an advantage.

Describe your weak sides: I am being too stubborn at times, and I don’t forgive easily.

What is your marital status?Married.

Do you have any children? Yes, I have two boys. The oldest is 3 years old. He has always been bigger than average, both in height and weight. He is darker than me, and has a blue/green eye colour. He has an amazing gentle and balanced personality, which both daycare and kindergarten have complimented him highly for. His inter-est is in everything mechanical, especially tractors.I guess it’s difficult to be objective about someone you love so much, but he really is fantastic, and wherever we go, his charm leaves so many smiles behind. Our younger boy is 1 year old. He is average in height and weight. He has brown hair, and blue eyes. His personality is different than his brother’s. He is less patient and has such a strong will. He is not so interested in strangers as his older brother. But he is really tender towards us and his smile and laughter can melt anyone. He has been extraordinary fast at learning and we suspect that he has a high intelligence.Both boys are healthy, and are rarely sick. Only medical prob-lem they have had is some persistent coughing during their first winter. They both had it, and it was cured with asthma medication. They have not had it since and don’t get any med-ication today.

Which types of sport do you play or have played? Soccer, chess, taekwondo, boxing, kayaking, running and cy-cling.

Which other types of sports are you interested in? Athletics.

List any other hobbies you may have or have had:I am a passionate sailor for 20 years, and I like to fix anything myself.

List which musical instruments you play or have played:Guitar (no big talent though, but stubborn enough to learn it:)

Which countries have you visited:All of Europe, except a few countries.

Describe the best holiday you have had: Sailing vacation in Sweden with some good friends many years ago. The weather was great and the company also. It was the first time I went sailing in Sweden and I was highly impressed of the nature there.

What do you like the most about your own country:I love my country for many reasons. But having lived in other countries for several years, has especially made me appreci-ate the lack of hierarchy in working places and society in gen-eral. People get appreciated for their personality, more than their status and income. I also like the humor and sarcasm here.

Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? I have no idols. I see no point in admiring people I don’t know anyway.

What are your goals in life? In many way they are achieved I think. But I of course hope to continue to have a happy family life, and be the best father possible to my boys.

What were your childhood dreams:Apart from getting old enough to buy all the candy I wanted, I don’t really remember :)

Which values do you rank the highest?Loyalty.

Which childhood experience made the biggest impres-sion on you? Sadly it was when I lost my maternal grandmother I guess.

What is your favourite colour? Blue. It has just always been my favourite.

What is your favourite animal? Dogs. I have always been surrounded by dogs, and I have always loved them.

What is your favourite kind of food? Well-made traditional Danish food, made from good ingredi-ents is my favourite.

What is your favourite kind of music: I like most kinds of music. But favourites could be artists like Rolling Stones, Bruce Springsteen and Xavier Naido.

What is your favourite kind of car: It may be boring, but a VW Lupo 3l. I like the most about it I think. The innovations in it, was many years before its time. It was also my first new car.

What is your favourite kind of pet: Dog.

What is your favourite time of year: Autumn. I find it cozy.

What is your favourite movie and/or director: American History X is the latest film that made a big impres-sion on me. I also like Danish films like 10 Hours to Paradise a lot

Which was your greatest experience or moment? Becoming a father.

Happiest: Maybe a year spent at boarding school when I was 15. That was a great experience.

Funniest: The same year at boarding school, was really so much fun also.

Scariest: Nothing I have experienced beats the fright you can feel when being caught in a storm in a too small sailboat.

Proudest: Some of the things I have won in soccer and as a chess-player, when I was a boy, made me very proud.

Most dangerous: Hiking in Greenland without knowing much of the dangers of ice or mountains was both stupid and dan-gerous.

Greatest sorrow: Losing my grandparents.
