Sedimentary Rock Story

Iggy the igneous rock was born on top of a volcano when it erupted. Iggy began to become sediment through many years of facing the wind and rain at the top of the volcano. Erosion washed iggy down from the volcano into a river where he was eventually deposited in the Pacific Ocean. Iggy was feeling the pressure and began to compact. After thousands of years, Iggy, now at the ripe old age of 10,000, cemented and turned into a sedimentary rock.
