Event Parking: 220 designated paved parking spaces with overflow for 200 more vehicles on site.

CIRCUIT LOCKS, PANELS, TIE-IN LOCATIONS On the same level as the arena surface are 4 circuit lock locations. Spec:120/208V 3PH 4W 100A. They are located at
1. the entrance to the arena,
2. the player bench area,
3. the penalty box area, and
4. a tie-in at the maintenance room by loading bay.
There are four portable, 16 circuit event panels available – two with 50’ cords, two with 100’ cords. These can be tied into the circuit locks. A municipal electrician will be onsite to meet your needs.
Facility Details
ACOUSTICSEvent producers and renters rave about the acoustical quality of the facility. “Acoustics in the arena are great! Not many facilities have put a lot of thought in the acoustics, here they are great! We knew within five minutes we were not going to have any issues”. PIPE & DRAPEIn total there are 1,280’ of drape in inventory. This includes 800’ of adjustable 20’ height and 480’ of 8’ height.
ARENA EXHIBIT SPACEThe arena surface consists of 17,000 sq. ft., 200’l x 85’w. This would allow for up to 70 booths 10’x10’. The surrounding upper concourse track North side is 11’ wide allowing for 10 show booths/tables 8’l x 4’w. Covering of the performance lane surface may be requested. South side track at 7’w cannot be used as display space.
ACCESSIBILITY There are 2 entrances into the main lobby area. Access to the arena is via a set of lower level arena doors. The upper concourse can be reached by means of the staircase or patron elevator. Accessible seating in the arena is based on event requirements. There are 8 parking spaces designated as accessible.
STAGE & CHAIRS The stage consists of 4’x8’ panels with height adjustment 2’- 4’, it can be configured to 1,216 sq.ft. Steps and rails are part of the stage package. Two small portable stages are available each 6’x8’ and 2’ high. 1,200 mesh chairs 17” sq. in inventory. Stage size determines seating capacity on the arena surface.
ROOMS & SPACES The boardroom in the facility lobby can accommodate up to 30 individuals. There is a kitchenette, 12’long board room table, 15 executive chairs, monitor available, teleconferencing capability, hardwired internet & Wi-Fi.
The community room space overlooking the arena can accommodate 142 people and can be divided into 2 rooms – 60 per side. There is a bar and kitchen. Arena sound can be accessed. There is Wi-Fi , 4 Digital TVs , and washrooms.
AIR QUALITY & SYSTEMSQueens Place Emera Centre operates on a state-of-the-art HVAC system featuring glycol and ammonia based heating and cooling. The arena temperatures are adjusted on an event usage basis.
ICE COVER & BARRICADEThe ice surface can be covered with an insulated panel lock floor when required to accommodate events such as conventions, trade shows, concerts and more. There is a supply of twenty-five 7’ long galvanized steel crowd barrier available.
PATRON ELEVATORThe elevator located on the lower concourse is accessible, available for patrons and transport of reasonable size items to the upper concourse community room space. 15 person capacity, 2,500 lb. 88’h x 81’l x 51’w

BOX OFFICEThe ticketing agent of choice at Queens Place Emera Centre is Ticketpro. Major events must use this service. There is one on-site ticket outlet. Scanners may be made available for ticket confirmation. There is 1 ticket kiosk available.
LAUNDRY & EXTRAS An inventory of towels on-site and a washer/dryer is available for use during major events. An inventory of tables 6’x3’. and 3’x3’, a portable sound system and limited audio visual equipment are also available.The community room kitchen has an inventory of dishware and features an industrial grade dishwasher.

LIFTS & LIGHTING Available: 1 forklift, 1 scissor lift and 1 boom lift. These are be operated by the ticketed licensed personnel of the facility unless otherwise agreed. The most recent candle rating for arena lighting is 65 candles. Mid 2017. Events requiring 100 candles have added additional banks of lighting.
ATM & BAR SERVICEThere is an ATM onsite. The facility is licensed for the purposes of serving alcohol during major events and as appropriate.
VENUE RATESFacility rental rates are based on your specific need. These may include: daily arena rental, glass removal, stage, pipe & drape, arena ice cover, boardroom and community room rentals, forklift & lift rental, chairs, portable sound system, crowd barrier, track closure, fitness studio, lobby, laundry service, security, electrician and Ticketpro as contracted.
EMERGENCY SERVICESEmergency Health Services (ambulance) is located 700M from Queens Place Emera Centre. RCMP, Fire Department and Queens General Hospital are located in a 2.3KM radius in Liverpool direct.There is a First Aid Room, Defibrillator and Epi-Pen station onsite in the arena. A wheelchair is available.
DRESSING ROOMS There are six dressing rooms in the arena, one of which has a fully accessible washroom and shower space. There are also two referee rooms and an additional smaller independent dressing room next to the first aid room. Storage at the facility is limited.

WI-FI & BROADCASTBell Fibe Wi-Fi. There is up to 1GB available to patrons and for event use. TSN , World Curling TV have broadcast and streamed from the facility. There are a number of spaces for broadcast positions. Production facilities may be configured indoors or run externally.
