One of the most well-attended of PCEA Orlando’s signature events is our Annual Steak on the Lake mixer at the Orange County Sportsman’s Associ-ation. Every September, our monthly membership meeting is substituted for a cookout on the lake attended by representatives from the leading com-panies in Central Florida’s construction industry. Lifelong friendships and relationships are built on this foundation of fun times, good food, and great people. that lower energy bills, protect environ-ments from solar damage and can be integrated into total building management systems. They pro-vide window treatments for all types of commercial buildings; including healthcare, multi-family, hospi-tality, offices, restaurants and retail, education and general commercial. In March of 2017, Window In-teriors acquired Division 10 Specialties to become a one-stop shop for commercial specialties. August Member Meeting featured Steve Hogan, the CEO

of Florida Citrus Sports describing the unique partner-ships that make his organization work to increase com-munity spirit and pride, promote tourism, stimulate economic development, and enhance quality of life in Central Florida through its signature events. He detailed the successes of his organization, and spoke about plans to host post-season neutral site engagements like the Florida State vs. Old Miss game that broke internet tick-et dealing records. Alabama and Louisville are slated for next year’s matchup; and the Florida Gators are sched-uled to play the Miami Hurricanes over Labor Day week-end of 2019 in the Camping World Kickoff Game. He described the former Citrus Bowl as a neutral site event venue as opposed to a season ticket/home team venue.

The first Annual PCEA Fall Olympics sold out, hosting 12 teams at the Orange County Sportsman Association. Teams of four competed against each other in an open fo-rum to qualify for a single elimination bracket with Team Beer Pressure coming in first. They took home a trophy, over which many future members will compete to have their names engraved in PCEA Orlando history. Special thanks to the Social Committee, for their hard work in coordinating this epic event. (Please contact Christina Kanhai if you would be interested in serving on this com-mittee, or planning ahead for the event next year.)
