Introduction of Co-operative

Communication

In co-operative wireless communication, we are concerned with a wireless network, of the cellular or ad hoc variety, where the wireless agents , which we call users, may increase their effective quality of service (measured at the physical layer by bit error rates, block error rates, or outage probability) via co-operation

Page 5: Welcome To Our Presentation

Co-operative communication protocols• Amplify and Forward (AAF) • Decode and Forward (DAF)• Coded Co-operation (CC)

Page 6: Welcome To Our Presentation

Amplify and Forward (AAF) Each user in this method receives a noisy version of the signal transmitted by its partner . As the name implies, the user then amplified and retransmit the noisy signal.

Page 7: Welcome To Our Presentation

Decode and Forward (DAF)The decode-and-forward relay protocol is a protocol defined for wireless co-operative communications. InDecode and forward a user attempts to decode the partner's symbol then retransmit the decode symbols.

Coded Co-operation (CC)The basic idea behind coded co-operation is that each user tries to transmit incremental redundancy for its partner. Whenever that is not possible, the users automatically revert back to a non-cooperative mode

Combining Techniques And Modulation Schemes

Combining Techniques Modulation Schemes

1. Fixed Ratio Combining (FRC)2. Equal Ratio Combining (ERC)3. Signal to Noise Ratio Combining (SNRC)4. Enhanced Signal to Noise Ratio

Combining (ESNRC)

1. BPSK(For Single Link Transmission)

2. QPSK(For Multi-hop Transmission

Future Work• We will implement Coded Co-

operation in OFDM and get better result .

• In RCPC codes & Turbo codes we can use Coded Co-operation.

• In’s our future work to make it more effective.

Page 15: Welcome To Our Presentation

ConclusionAs stated at the field of • high-data-rate,• efficient and reliable wireless

communication

Coded Co-operative Communication is better over Amplify & Forward and Decode & Forward
