Devious – Job 1 & 2 August 23, 2015
What we can learn from Job: Our enemy will use tactics to hit us where he
feels he can cause the most damage:
____________ ____________ ____________
Our response should mirror Job’s response: Be T__________ – Job 1:20-22
In his deception, Satan’s goal is for the child
of God to at the very least _______ _____ and at the very most, ________ ________.
Be T__________ – Job 2:4-8
God will _______ _____ _______!
13 No temptation has overtaken you except what is
common to mankind. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way
out so that you can endure it. (1 Corinthians 10:13)
Be T__________ – Job 2:9-10
16 Rejoice always, 17 pray continually, 18 give thanks in all circumstances; for this is God’s will for you in
Christ Jesus. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)
