GETTING TO NYC

Once you’ve landed, hop in a car service or yellow cab and head to your hotel. Most limos, car services & taxis accept credit cards. On average the fares from NYC airports range from $45 -$75 depending on which airport you’re coming from and traffic.

From the moment you walk into the second floor, we will carefully craft every detail to provide you with a career changing experience that you’ll treasure forever. We’ll stagger the demos and workshops with rotations, breaks and time for relaxing or catching some fresh air outside. Each day is richly packed, from beginning to end. Please arrive on time and prepare your body and mind for a full-throttle experience. Trust us, you won’t want to miss a single minute of this session.

Gallerie doors open at 9 AM (in our book early is on time) Sessions start promptly at 9:30 AM and wrap up every afternoon at 5 PM, just enough time to catch a Broadway show or plan a night of fun in NYC. While lunch is not included in the cost of tuition, we have a list of recommended spots nearby. On the last day of class we will end with graduation and certificates of class completion will be released at 5 PM, we encourage you to stay and celebrate graduation with your class and facilitators.

Program changes: Occasionally, due to illness or unforeseen circumstances, facilitator substitutions and/or cancellations are necessary. Substitute facilitators are chosen based on a comparable expertise in their field

Sam Villa is both pleased and honored to provide his top quality tools, including shears, razors, combs, brushes, blow dryers & flat irons for you to work with during your workshops at The Redken Exchange. Once your session is over simply return all tools to your designated locker. Specialty brushes and styling tools will also be provided by Tearsheet& Kris Sorbie

While attending class you will have the opportunity to purchase razors, blades, shears and any other supplies you might need at The Redken Gallerie. MAXIMIZE YOUR LEARNINGIf you are committed to hit the ground running and get the most value from your experience, please download the Redken Style Station to your personal Ipad and practice with its multiple capabilities. The journal feature - our digital workbook experience - will be the method we will use at The Redken Exchange for you to take notes and sketch your head forms, the iPad-only experience includes interactive worksheets and blank head forms that allow you to take notes with the touch screen feature. By checking out the iPad you agree to the iPad loan agreement that will be distributed on site..
