British Airways has a proud 75-year history with London Gatwick. It is now the UK’s second largest

airport, with our flights operating from the North Terminal. Offering excellent service, a wide range

of products and an extensive route network to cater for the needs of our customers around the world.

Zone A is where our state of the art check-in area is located. From this newly renovated terminal,

we fly to destinations across the UK, Europe, America, the Indian Ocean and the Caribbean.

Spacious, bright and airy, the renovated terminal gives you the quickest and smoothest possible

journey through the airport.

ThE LATEsT TEChNOLOGy

Make the start of your journey as enjoyable as possible by checking in online at

www.ba.com, open 24 hours before your flight departs. You can print your boarding card

at home or download it to your smartphone. Alternatively take advantage of the facilities

at the terminal to check in, choose your seat and print your boarding card.

If you have baggage to check in you can use one of the self-service kiosks to print your

own luggage tags before dropping them off at the desk. At the airport our helpful staff will

be on hand to guide you if you need any assistance. There are also full service ticketing

and check-in desks, plus extra care desks for customers with additional requirements.

As a result of our technological introductions at London Gatwick we were only the second airline

to receive a Gold Award in the Fast Travel Initiative by the International Air Transport Association

(IATA). This recognises airlines introducing automated and self-service capabilities to simplify services

for customers.

yOUR EXCLUsIVE JOURNEy

An exclusive check-in area is available to First, Club World and Club Europe customers, as well

as Gold, Silver and Bronze Executive Club Members.

After speeding through Fast Track Security, our inviting Terraces Lounge awaits First, Club World

and Club Europe customers, as well as Gold and Silver and Executive Club Members. This exclusive

haven away from the hustle and bustle of the airport is the perfect place to unwind with a drink or

snack before boarding.

First and Gold Members can relax in the welcoming First Lounge, which comes complete with

shower facilities, business area and complimentary bar and refreshments. Gold and Silver

Club Members can admit one other guest into the lounges.

When you fly in Euro Traveller or on a UK Domestic flight you can check in and select your seat

at ba.com, take advantage of the free baggage allowance which includes two hand bags and

a checked bag item of up to 23kg (51lb). And for those times when you want to travel light

and make a quick getaway from the airport, we also offer hand baggage only fares.

TRAVEL

Conveniently located only 30 minutes from London, access to the city is quick

and simple.

The Gatwick Express connects you to Victoria station in central London in just

30 minutes, with departures every 15 minutes. As well as the express service,

local train connections run throughout the night providing 24 hour access

between the airport and London. There are also regular coaches to Victoria

coach station as well as local train and bus services to destinations all around the

UK. The journey time to central London by car, taxi or coach is approximately

one hour.

If you are continuing your journey via Heathrow with British Airways, our

partners American Airlines and Iberia, or any of our other oneworld® partners,

a direct coach service takes you onwards from London Gatwick. The journey

takes approximately 75 minutes and connects you with our extensive worldwide

network from London Heathrow Terminals 1, 3 and 5.

Hand baggage allowance

Customers can take one standard-sized bag:

56cm x 45cm x 25cm (22in x 18in x 10in)

plus one laptop, briefcase or handbag sized

40cm x 30cm x 15cm (16in x 12in x 6in)

When boarding the aircraft, all hand luggage must fit within

the allowance, including any purchases made at the airport.

Hand Baggage Only fares

Applicable on short haul routes only. If an Emerald or

Sapphire cardholder purchases a Hand Baggage Only fare

and subsequently pays to check in a bag, they are able to

check in up to 32kg.

Children and infants

(2-11 years)

Have the same allowance as adults, plus one fully-collapsible

pushchair (stroller) and one car seat.

(under 2 years)

Can have one standard sized bag (except hand baggage

only fares) plus one fully collapsible pushchair (stroller) and

one car seat. It is not possible to pay to take extra bags for

an infant.

Frequent flyer allowances

Additional frequent flyer allowances apply to all customers

travelling on the same booking.

Sporting equipment

Free of charge if taken as part of free checked baggage

allowance; charged as extra bag if taken in addition to free

checked baggage allowance.

Travelling in more than one cabin

For itineraries involving more than one cabin, e.g. outbound

in economy and return in business class, the most generous

baggage allowance applies across the whole journey.

Travelling with separate tickets

For itineraries involving travelling on separate tickets, the

baggage allowance for each ticket applies individually.

Travelling with our partners

For itineraries involving flights operated by British Airways,

American Airlines, Iberia and Japan Airlines the most generous

baggage allowance applies across the whole journey. Other

oneworld carriers might have different baggage policies but

they will not be honoured when travelling with British Airways.

The oneworld carriers are airberlin, American Airlines,

British Airways, Cathay Pacific, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines,

LAN, TAM, Malaysia Airlines, Qantas, Qatar, Royal Jordanian,
