IBS Code of Conduct
1) The rules of behavior for your university apply to the Seminar the same as if you were sitting in a classroom on campus.
2) Students are expected to be prepared for every academic session.
3) Students must be on time for every company visit and associated sessions.
4) Students are required to dress professionally for all company visits and remain attentive during all sessions.
5) By seeking to participate in an IBS program, you are accepting responsibility to monitor your own behavior.
6) Chewing gum is not allowed in any official IBS sessions.
7) Treat all company executives/presenters/hosts with respect and give full attention during the sessions.
8) Your behavior in the hotels should reflect your participation in a professional program.
9) Your program includes a shared, twin-bedded room in a quality hotel. For safety reasons, no one is allowed to enter your room who is not affiliated with the IBS seminar or the hotel staff. This includes, but is not limited to, persons you may meet during your free time day or night.
10) Theft of any item from a hotel (including towels, pillows or blankets) is theft, and is not tolerated.
11) Unlawful narcotics, drugs, drug paraphernalia will not be tolerated. Possession or use is an infraction of this policy.

IBS Code of Conduct
Penalties for Violations of the Code of Conduct
1) Fines will be established and assessed by IBS faculty on each Seminar program for violations.
2) Violations of Code provisions will affect overall grade of violators.
3) Serious violations of the Code of Conducts puts one at risk of being expelled from the program.
4) Violation of provisions 9, 10, or 11 of the Code of Conduct is punishable by immediate expulsion from the program.
5) Any student who is expelled from the seminar for code of conduct violations will be required to arrange their own transportation back home and will not be allowed to physically stay with the group after their expulsion. The overall cost of an expulsion can be substantial and will be born directly by the offending student.
