Describe the best holiday you have had: Well it is hard to define why it was the best but here it goes: A couple of years back a friend of mine planned a trip to Scot-land for himself, his girlfriend, the sister of his girlfriend and me. In the end my friend and his girlfriend cancelled, but the sister and I had already bought our non-refundable tickets. We met at the airport and to be honest things were a bit awk-ward at first. But we went with it and ended up having a great time! We saw Edinburgh and the sorrounding area and even went on a daytrip to England to see the Harry Potter castle. I ended up falling in love with Edinburgh and I ended up moving there and living there for a year.

What do you like the most about your own country:I love the Danish nature even though there is not nearly enough of it!

Who are your idols/heroes/heroines? My greatest idol is my father. Even though I did not realize it until I was an adult and even though we disagreed about a lot of things, he taught me a lot about moral values and he was always a good role model. As I got older I realized that I look like him more and more, and that makes me proud of who I am becoming, as well as I am proud to call him my father.

What are your goals in life? It is a bit hard for me to define a certain goal in life. I hope to learn as much as possible and perhaps someday to teach. I love life as a student even though you don’t have a lot of money. I look forward to going to the academy almost eve-ryday and since this is my passion I would love to someday get to pass this on to others. I also hope to travel and see the whole world! And last but not least I hope to someday have a family of my own.

What were your childhood dreams:When I was a child I wanted to be a script writer and/or film director.

Which values do you rank the highest?Honesty, adventures/experiences, knowledge and family/friends.

Which childhood experience made the biggest impres-sion on you? I know this is not some big magical life-changing event, but to be honest the childhood experience that made the biggest impression on me was probably the first time I caught a trout.I was probably 11-12 years old and my father and I had been out fishing a couple of times but I had never caught anything. When my father took me fishing I became impatient and to be honest I was probably a bit of a bother to have along. But then my father took me to a put & take lake. After about 45 minutes I noticed something was going on with my fishingline and with the help of my father I landed a trout of 1 kg. I had never really been good at sticking with one hobby or sport and I never attended any activity for more than 6 months. But this experience cemented my love for fishing and after this I would happily spend hours at the lake without complaints. To this day I still love fishing even though I don’t get to do it as much as I want to.

Which was your greatest experience or moment? The greatest experience in my life so far is probably the year I spent in Scotland. I don’t really know if I can count the whole year as one experience, but during that year I grew so much, learned so much about myself and was inspired to continue my studies.

Happiest: The happiest moment of my life is right now! I have so much to be grateful for and I don’t want to be anyone else but me. Even though I can sometimes have a bad day, I am happy to be me every day.

Funniest: I can’t define one moment as the funniest in my life. I am lucky to have fun experiences all the time!

Scariest: The scariest moment in my life was when my father was sick in the hospital and I realized I was going to lose him.

Proudest: The proudest moment in my life was when I fin-ished my AP-degree knowing that my parents would be proud.

Most dangerous: The most dangerous moment in my life is also quite a hard one to pin down. I have never really had any near-death experiences.

Greatest sorrow: My greatest sorrow was losing my parents. I love them and I still think about them almost every day.

What is your favourite colour? Blue. I have never given this much thought but I tend to preferblue things.

What is your favourite animal? Llama. A couple of years back my brother somehow got into this joke about having a llama in the garden and ever since I have had a thing for llamas. If I pass a field of llamas I will happily stop and look at them for a while.

What is your favourite kind of food? I could not possibly go for one dish! I love cooking as well as being cooked for! I love the whole eating experince. My own signature dish is a great (if I may say so myself) chilli con carne!

What is your favourite kind of music: I mostly listen to rap or rock/rap mix. However, it is important to me that the lyrics have either a philosofical/political mes-sage or a happy-go-lucky attitude. I don’t like so called gang-ster rap.

What is your favourite kind of car: 4 weels and a tank full of gas! I don’t need to go fast, it is muchmore important that I have room for my friends and my lug-gage.

What is your favourite kind of pet: I have had lots of different pets and I have a thing for rodents. Iused to have rats and they are so much smarter than a lot of people think. They are great pets!

What is your favourite time of year: Depends on where I am in the world, but here in Denmark myfavourite time of year is spring! Trees and flowers blossom, you no longer need to wear a coat and my birthday is during spring :)

What is your favourite book and/or author:“The outsiders” by Susan Hinton. It was the first “real” book I read, that was not assigned by a teacher. Even though I hardly remember it, that book is the book that got me into reading.

What is your favourite movie and/or director: “En som Hodder”. It is a Danish movie about a young boy who lives alone with his father because his mother passed away. Hodder is a bit of an outsider but he always stay possitive and true to himself - a very inspiring film especially for a 10 year old boy like I was when I first saw the film.
