something important and contact a classmate for the notes
If you miss a test, you have 1 week to make it up provided you have a verifiable excuse (e.g. doctor’s note)
Five short identification questions, five fill in the blanks, five true and false questions and five matching questions
There will also be a choice of essay questions.
You will automatically lose ten points if the essay question is not answered in essay format.
Take notes! Anything that I say in class is subject to appear on the exam.

There will be a sign in sheet handed out within the first 5 minutes of class
Write legibly; if I can’t read it, you are not here
Your final grade will be penalized one-half letter grade if you exceed three absences
It is better to contact me via email I expect proper email etiquette to be
followed: Subject in the subject lineProper salutationRespectful tone
If these courtesies are not followed, the email will be ignored. Remember you are preparing for the “real” world and you will be expected to be courteous towards your co-workers and employers.
