AnnouncementsYouth Ministry Parent MeetingTODAY parents are encouraged to attend a short informational meeting about the up-coming fall youth ministries program. Meet in the youth room from 10:15-10:30am af-ter first service or in the 210 Lounge from 11:45-noon after second service.

Believe God Can Do AnythingThe Women’s Ministry Team invites you to attend the “Women of Faith Conference” in Anaheim. It’s on Friday and Saturday, Sep-tember 13th-14th. Registration is $91 plus one night’s lodging. You may register, or get more information, on the Courtyard fol-lowing 9:00 worship, and in the 210 lounge following 10:30 worship. Scholarship help is available, so feel free to ask about that.

Guatemala Mission TripFrom September 22nd-28th we will install a Clean Drinking Water Filter System at Iglesia Bethesda School in Tecpan, Gua-temala. This is a school with 350 students in the morning and 300 in the afternoon. The cost of the trip is $400, plus airfare. This covers all in-country transportation, lodging, and meals. Not covered are per-sonal snacks & shopping. Please reserve space by completing an application. Final payment due by September 1st.

Backyard Picnic & SwimCome join us on Saturday, August 24th for a picnic and swim at Bennetts’ Ranch from 10am-2pm! Bring your lunch, swimsuits, towels and a lawn chair. For directions, please call the church office.

Sunday Morning Bible StudyToday, we will meet for the last time this summer. But before we will gather in the youth room, we will be part of Oliver’s com-missioning during first service. Meet us in the sanctuary before we head upstairs and then join worship at 210 at 10:30am.

CALC & Children’s Ministries Annual Spaghetti Dinner & Back to School NightAll children and families are welcome on Wednesday, August 28 at 5:30pm in Ge-neva Hall for a great time of food and fel-lowship as we celebrate the new school year. Sign ups for the Wednesday night children’s program will be available.

DivorceCareDivorceCare, a support group for those en-countering the effects of separation and/or divorce, begins a new 13 week session on Thursday, August 22nd. We meet weekly in the 210 Conference Room from 6:00 to 8:00pm. Share this opportunity with others who could use this support. For more in-formation, call Barbara Simpson 280-9048.
