El Monte County Park is a day use park and a favorite destination for families who enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the natural surroundings.

Did you know that any of the park’s eight picnic areas can be reserved? Each one of these areas can accommodate your family’s important events such as weddings, receptions, family reunions, or birthday celebrations.

The following information will help you decide which area is appropriate for your event.

For your enjoyment, El Monte County Park offers various pieces of sports equipment such as horse shoes, volleyballs, soccer balls, softballs, bocce ball and ladder golf to name just a few. All equipment is available with a valid ID. Just come to the park office and we’ll be happy to assist.
