TRANSCRIPT
Tonight we are welcoming finalists from across the globe to recognise high performing workplaces, bosses and employers across the IIP Community. 2016 is the 25th year of Investors in People. This evening we will also be recognising some long service awards for employers that have chosen to put their people at the heart of their organisation for many years.
The judges have been astounded by the high standard of entries this year. A rigorous process has whittled down over 300 entries to just 84 finalists across 10 main categories. All shortlisted organisations should feel extremely proud.
The Awards are the perfect way to recognise the people that make the difference in your organisation every day.
As employers from different industries and sizes, I am proud that we are joined here this evening to celebrate one common commitment – the people that make our organisations successful every day.
Because good people make a great business.
