Yesterday, many students turned out for Virginia Tech, Duke and William & Mary’s visit to CHS. Currently, today, we have a Lynchburg College Rep here in the Media Center.

Seniors make up picture day will be this Monday, September 23rd. See Mr. Suits in C102 for individual appointment times.

16 Studio Art students visited the “Clue Gee Ruin” art museum earlier this week.

They met and spoke with Mr. David Bosun, a visiting artist from Australia. The students also spent time sketching their favorite piece of artwork from the museum's collection.

The “Clue Gee Ruin” art museum right here in Charlottesville on Pantops hosts many family-friendly events!

Amnesty International meets in the Media Center today after school.

Wish our award winning band well as they travel to Princess Anne High School for a Band Competition. Go em Black Knights! Please tune in Monday for a feature on the band in Monday’s Minute.

Tonight the Varsity Football team heads up to Greene County to face William Monroe.

Coach Sherry believes that the key to victory lies with focus and playing Black Knight football.* * * Go Black Knight Nation.

Our Cross Country teams hope to build on their victory from the Eastern Mennonite Invitational at the Varsity International @ William and Mary this Saturday.

In their last meet, both our JV Girls and our Varsity Boys won their divisions!  

 Members of the JV girls team include:  Bethany Reitsma--big PR (4th in race), Ruby Auble (6th), Zofia Ferki (9th), Eve Allen (12th),  

Caroline Bray (22nd), Leah Marshall (25th), Ellie Fore (29th), Ana Untaroiu (37th), Allie Hall (39th), Jemma Fendley (42nd), Pascale Starosta (43rd),

Sophie Schectma (46th), Kelly Hancock (51st), Lucy Pugh-Sellers (55th), and Margaret Manto (68th).  

The Varsity boys were:  Riley Covert (2nd), Malloy Owen (3rd), David Cohn (20th), Lukas Houpt (28th), Zach Greenhoe (31st), Ben Veale (36th),

and Will Amacker (91st).  Also medalling were Kellyn Kusyk (8th place in the Varsity girls race), Jacob Schierman (6th in the Boys JV),

and Patrick O'Shea (8th in the Boys JV). 

Join the Ultimate Frisbee club on the upper baseball field today and Monday. See Mr. Rosello for a waiver.

The strength and conditioning class meets at 4 in the weight room.

Earlier this week, FCA held its first meeting of the year in B Commons.
