Staying in TouchWelcome to 2020, the dawn of new decade. What does that mean to you? A career change? Expanding your family? Retirement? Learning a new skill? Whatever it means to you, we hope you’re doing it in Harmony. We have approximately 178 families’ now calling Harmony home. Harmony is all about community. The community spirit is alive and well in Harmony.
Harmony is the deepest man-made lake in Alberta! And it’s also the largest at 140 acres. What does that mean? More room to boat, paddleboard, fish, swim and stroll along its shores.
Harmony’s’ environmental sustainability programs include the creation of naturalized open spaces, wetlands, habitats for native plants and animals and over 17,000 trees where there were none before.
Did you know?
Safety is Everyones’ Responsibilty The lake ice is closed, please remember that aeration is on all the time and therefore there is always a
current under the ice. Although the ice may look safe, it is not. DO NOT GO ON THE ICE Keep walkways, and paths cleared
Remove hazards such as ice or snow on sidewalks
Check household chimneys and exhaust pipes for ice buildup
Outside, wear appropriate footwear for increased traction. Walk along grassy areas if a walkway is covered in ice. Make yourself visible to drivers by wearing a brightly colored jacket or clothes
Did you know?Over a 20 year build out, Harmony will be home to approx. 3500 homes and about 10,000 residents. It will be a diverse community with homes for every lifestyle.
Harmony Lake is stocked with Rainbow Trout! We are establishing a stocking program of triploid (sterile) trout, once a healthy population has been establish, resident will be able to catch and keep fish.
Street lights in Harmony are energy efficient LED lights following the “Dark Skies Principles” of design.
Springbank Airport, or YBW, has been a part of the Sprinbank area since its construction in 1969 and grand opening in 1971. Just like Harmony, it too was built on historic family lands.
