Welcome to First Baptist Church
Welcome to First Baptist Church of Clemson. We are so pleased that you are part of our congregation today.
We worship God as revealed in Jesus Christ and seek to provide our people both a sense of identity and belonging and a sense of direction and mission. We hope you will consider making First Baptist Clemson your church home.
As a family of Christian believers, this Church receives as new members all those professing faith in Christ and requesting baptism by immersion. This Church also receives members by transfer of letter from another church or by statement of previous membership in another church providing membership in that church required profession of faith in Christ and baptism in some form. Members may be received at any scheduled worship service.

CHILDREN’S WORSHIP—4 year Olds through 2nd Grade In the Children's Chapel (room #103/104), the children are learning about elements of worship. Today's Bible lesson is Saul Escapes in a Basket (Acts 9:20-28). After Saul met Jesus, he wanted to tell everyone that Jesus is God's Son. Some of the men that heard Saul, were angry; the men guarded the city gates to try and capture Saul. With the help of God and some of his friends, Saul made a plan to escape over the city wall in a basket. Saul then went to Jerusalem, where he met Barnabas and Jesus' other friends. God was with Saul and loved him, and Saul trusted God. We can trust God, too. Our Bible verse for today is "In God I trust; I will not be afraid" Psalm 56:4.

LAUREN EVANS JOINS US FULL TIME AS DIRECTOR OF FAMILY MINISTRIES
On Sunday, June 2, Lauren will begin her full time ministry as Director of Family Ministries. Lauren has done a wonderful job as our part-time Interim Minister of Children since September of last year. She has worked closely with our Children's Sunday School, engaged our children in Bible study on Wednesday and Sunday evenings, facilitated the development of our new design for Children's Worship, and developed weekly emails to parents providing at-home connections to Bible study and prayer requests (just to name a few aspects of her ministry). We are delighted to have her in a full time capacity and look forward to the many ways in which God will use her in the spiritual growth of our children and families.
