Welcome to the Lord’s day worship service at Grace Church.
We are truly blessed to be here this morning as we open God’s Word together, sing His praises,
and enjoy a time of fellowship in His presence.
Be sure to take advantage of the many fellowship and ministry
opportunities available to our church family today and
throughout the week.

My Savior Goes to His Suffering
My Savior goes to suffer, goes to suffer,His life for me to offer, that I may live again.
My Savior, my Savior goes to suffer,His life for me to offer, that I may live again; That I may gain salvation within His congregation,He bows His head and dies.
Now here I stand and, weeping, weeping for gladness,For gladness that He saved me,I praise His blessed name.
Oh love beyond comparing! How shall I truly thank HimFor all He’s done for me?How shall I truly thank Him for all He’s done for me?For me, for all He’s done for me, He’s done for me.

page, take a moment to send our homebound saints postcard from wherever you go!
Whether it comes from your local “staycation” time at the city zoo or a more elaborate vacation time abroad, a postcard from wherever you are lets our homebound folks experience a taste of your family vacation. Take a moment to write a simple note about what it’s like being where you are, tell them that you’re praying for them, and let them know that you want them to share in your joy! Even though you may not know these dear homebound saints, just by sending them a snapshot of your time away with a few simple words you are instantly inviting them back into the life of the church in a way that’s surprisingly encouraging.
Please prayerfully consider including some extended church family in your summer vacation plans this year, and share God’s blessing with a postcard from grace.
For more information about homebound ministry opportunities, call 818-909-5500.
For many of us, summertime means vacation time. Whether it’s a short day-trip to the beach or an extended time away camping in one of our national forests, being able to travel and enjoy God’s wondrous handiwork is a part of the common grace that He extends to His creation. However, there are some of God’s children that aren’t able to travel anywhere when vacation time comes around; they are homebound for the summer. Truth be known, they are homebound in every season.
We have many in our own church family who are never able to leave their homes because of a debilitating illness or the immobility that comes with age. These once-active members who attended weekly worship services, Bible studies, and discipleship groups now, if they are able, watch the Sunday services via our live stream broadcast and enjoy an occasional visit from our congregational care team to brighten their day. Some of our homebound saints are not even able to accept visitors due to the degree of their condition, and so loneliness and a sense of isolation deepen over time. They remember the experience of travel, but now aren’t even able to take a step out of doors. They would love to take a vacation, but they simply can’t.
This summer you have an opportunity to come alongside these homebound believers by taking them with you as you travel. How can you do this? Drawing from the list of names on the facing
