ABOUT ME• My name is Ms. Amber Lester• I am extremely excited to be your child’s

6th grade teacher for the 2011-2012 school year.

• This is my 3rd year teaching, but I have been a part of the SSES family since 2004.

• Currently, I am a resident of Smiths Station and have been since I was a little girl.

• I have been blessed with two beautiful girls, Kelsey-6 and McKenzie-4.

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUNDo Graduated #7 in my class from SSHS in

2004.o Attended CSU from 2004-2005

majoring in Nursing.o Changed major to my childhood dream

of becoming a teacher in 2006 and began attending TROY University.

o Graduated in December 2009 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education.

o Will be going back for a Master’s this Fall!
