Welcome! My name is Lydia Phillips and I am the owner of Mintwood Photo Co. in Athens, GA. On behalf of myself and the other photographers I work with, we are so honored to be

considered for your upcoming wedding! We put this packet together to walk you through the

Most people don’t know where to

photographer and it can be

—a perfectly sized way to have the Mintwood wedding

day experience without paying for hours you won’t use!

Ideal for brides who want to speed through the pre-

ceremony photos, you’ll have six hours of coverage to

fill with laughter and love. Same dreamy, high quality

images by Lydia, and a lower price. A great choice for

weekday weddings! Please note, this 5 hour, 1

photographer option does not include an engagement

session or Photobox.

The Signature wedding package is by

far our most popular. Maybe that’s

because brides love the flexibility of

having two photographers? Or maybe

it’s those ten hours, capturing every

moment. Whatever the reason, this

option is tried and true! Like the Classic,

you’ll receive your photos both dgitally

Your engagement shoot is a great opportunity to get comfortable in front of the camera before your

wedding! I’ll walk you through my favorite tips and tricks for posing without looking posed and answer any questions you have. Most of all we’ll get to know

each other and have fun at the same time! Because on your big day, if there’s one vendor you want to know ahead of time it’s your photographer. Engagement sessions take place in Athens, GA or St. Simons Island, GA (when available) unless other travel is arranged.

Mintwood Photoboxes are simply our way of returning your wedding photos in the most loving

manner. The boxes themselves are handmade by a local woodworker. They’re laser-engraved with your names and anniversary date before being sent to us!

Where we then carefully pick our favorite 25-30 images from your wedding and have them printed on artisan matte paper. When you receive your Photobox, display it in your new home together! It’s a

great conversation starter that both new and old friends can be part of. Your Photobox will also house your USB and signed print release.

TRAVEL FEES

The travel fee is a way to compensate for the time I spend away from the studio….and home. A destination

wedding isn’t a one-day affair the way a local wedding is…it could be two days of travel, the wedding, then two more days of travel home. Because I’m out of the office, I need to ensure the costs (meals, incidentals,

etc) I incur while on the road are completely covered, as well as my time away. The travel fee applies to all weddings outside of Georgia. My travel fee for 2017 weddings is $500/day.

If we are in town the day before your wedding, we will gladly photograph your rehearsal dinner if at all possible! Also, destination weddings include an extra two hours of wedding day coverage.

In addition to the travel fee, if the trip necessitates the following expenses they will be included on your

invoice: roundtrip airfare for two (myself and my second shooter), a rental car (including gas and taxes),

and hotel accommodations, preferably at the hotel where the bride is preparing for her wedding (it makes the wedding day so much smoother). Please contact us with further questions!
