Welcome Message
I am delighted to announce that Coloproctology 2020 (the Annual Meeting of the Malaysian Society of Colorectal Surgeons) will be held in March as previous years. It will be convened in the beautiful city of Ipoh which I believe will be a destination preferred by many.
The Organising Committee has prepared an elaborate scientific programme that will be delivered by esteemed Malaysian and overseas experts. There will also be a live surgery Pre-Congress workshop that will be held in Hospital Raja Permaisuri Bainun, Ipoh, Perak. The scientific programme will suit all levels
of healthcare providers from allied health professionals, paramedics, nurses, specialist trainees and consultants. As have been done before, there will also be a programme for the colorectal cancer survivors’ support group i.e. CORUM.
I believe that the city of Ipoh has plenty to offer with historical and heritage places that will awe us . It is also a city full of natural beauty with incredible landscapes for our families to explore and have fun with.
I feel honoured and privileged to invite you to save this date in your diary and let us meet up and enjoy Coloproctology 2020 in Ipoh, Malaysia.
