Workshop on Research Methodology (M.D.S-1) conducted by Department of Prosthodontics

and Indian Prosthodontics Society, Pune.

Dr. Uma Dalvi, Professor, Department of Psychiatry, BVDU

Medical College, Pune spoke on Behavioral Management and

Psychological Counseling.

Dr. Savita Bapat, a senior MUHS faculty, spoke on

communication skills. 125 participants from various dental

colleges registered for the programme.

• Blood donation camp was conducted on 3rd

Aug.2018.

• The inauguration of Blood Donation Camp wasdone by Mr. Vishnu Tamhane Senior PoliceInspector Bharati Vidyapeeth Police Station.

• Total 106 bottles of blood was collected

PUBLIC HEALTH DENTISTRY

Department of Public Health Dentistry in collaborationwith Rotary Club of Pune (Parvati).

Basic dental treatment of children from lower socio-economic background was undertaken.

Scaling and polishing, pit and fissure sealants andfluoride application will be done free of cost.

8-10 students every Monday.

Engagement with NGOs

• We will provide dental services at our institute only

• Cost of transportation, refreshments must be borneby NGO/supporting agency

• All other treatments may be given concession atdiscretion of Principal.

INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATIONS

15th August 2018 – Independence day

celebration-organized by Department of

Prosthodontics. Nearly 30 students and staff

event.
