Our staff have been trained to develop a learning environment without prejudice, stereotyping or discrimination. We strive to provide an enriched experience for all our students.
LocationMontreal is a very safe, clean, vibrant, multi-cultural city with old world charm and amazing historical architecture and heritage landmarks. Whether you visit the Old Port, Atwater or Jean Talon markets, Notre Dame Basilica, St. Joseph Oratory, walk on Mount Royal, or travel our many bike paths, you will see the many historical parts of Montreal and experience our many diverse cultures and all of their charm. Whichever direction you choose – north, south, east or west, Montreal is surrounded by beautiful lakes, mountains, and ski hills. Montreal and the surrounding areas offer the beauty of the four seasons and endless activities and unique experiences.

Our SuccessThe EMSB has successfully participated in many provincial, national and international education related competitions. Our achievements have encouraged our students to do their best. Our accomplishments have translated into a graduation success rate of over 80%, the highest in Quebec. Our success is due to the dedication of our teachers, the enthusiasm of our students, and the support of our parents and community.
Extra-Curricular ActivitiesOver and above the academics, extracurricular activities are an integral part of the learning experience. Each of our schools offer activities that interest their particular clientele. Some of the most popular are a variety of sport activities, fine arts (dance, music, art, drama, etc.), robotics, leadership programs, student clubs (chess, photography, debate, etc.), and challenging local, national, and international competitions. The learning experience is further enriched through organized half day, full day, or overnight excursions. Our students have the opportunity to visit many of the historical sites throughout Montreal and Quebec, as well as experience what is considered Quebec traditions. Some of these include apple picking, Cabane a Sucre. “How our world famous maple syrup is produced,” experi-encing the annual Quebec City Winter Carnival, and visiting many of our historical and culturally rich museums and landmarks.

The Parent/Guardian/Agency must complete the questionnaire at www.emsb.qc.ca/internationalstudents and forward it to EMSB ([email protected]) so that a school can be chosen with the interests of the student in mind. The Parent/Guardian/Agency will then start the process with Immigration Quebec to obtain the C.A.Q.
