SPEAKERBIOGRAPHIESKyleBredbenner iscurrentlythevisualmerchandisingmanagerforDonnaKaranNew York. In this position, Bredbenner travels across the country and inter-nationallytooverseenewstoreopeningsandtodevelopstorelayouts.Heandhisteam develop monthly directives, providing direction to store management onpresentingandsellingDKNYproducts.Heproducesinteractivetrainingmaterialsonproduct knowledge and visual merchandising practices. Previously, BredbennerservedasstoremanagerandtrainingmanagerforvariousDKNYstoresintheU.S.andCanada.Hehasalsoworked invariousstore leadershippositions forBath&BodyWorksandTheDisneyStores.HegraduatedfromAlbrightCollegein2009.
R. Scott French has designed under his own label since the late 1980s, anddesignedhisnamesakecollectionofmen’sandwomen’ssportswearuntil2009.Anactivememberof theCouncilofFashionDesignersofAmerica (CFDA),Scott isaNewYork runway regular inhis capacityas co-founderandeditor-in-chiefof theinternationalmediaportal siteTheFashionList.com.ScotthasappearedonBravoNetwork,NBC, FoxNews, FuseTV,MetroChannel, Style, TLC,Network&NY1, aswell as amyriad ofworldwide printed press, andhundreds ofwebsites, andhiswork has been published in seven books. Scott is a member of the faculty atParsonsSchoolofDesign,theArtInstituteofNYC,andKentStateUniversity.
Rebecca Fried is Retail Division Manager at Sorrelli Jewelry. Sorrelli’s is afamily-ownedjewelrydesigncompanythatproducesheirloom-qualityjewelry.Rebecca is responsible for both e-commerce and two brick andmortar retailstore locations. Prior to her promotion, she served asmarketingmanager atSorrelli’s.RebeccagraduatedfromAlbrightCollegein2006.
Allison Haftel is an assistant designer forGottex Swimwear Brands in NewYork City, working under the brand Oceanfront. She designs junior girlsswimwearforbrandssuchasXhilaration(Target),Candies(Kohl’s),96Degrees& Arizona (JC Penney’s), as well as others. Previously, Allison was a designinternforCatherine’sandNautica’swomen’sdesignteam.ShegraduatedfromPhila-delphiaUniversitywithadegreeinfashiondesignin2013.LynneHowellshasworkedforBoscov’s for28yearsandcurrentlyservesasvicepresident, divisional merchandise manager for Window, Decorative Home,Lamps,Luggage,Pet&Collectibles.Boscov’siscurrentlycelebratingits100yearanniversary, and is America’s largest family-owned department store. HowellsreceivedabachelorofartsinEnglish,businessandcommunicationsin1984fromAlbrightCollege,whereshewasactiveintheDominoPlayersandastheeditorofTheAlbrightian.In2005sheservedasanadjunctinstructorinfashion.
Marijean Jerrell is an independent design consultant who owns an importbusiness.Her career began as a buyer and departmentmanager for BullocksandasahomefashioncoordinatorforBurdines,nowbothunderMacy’s.Asadesigner, her credits include serving as vice president, Arthur Court Designs,vice president of Design for Renaissance, corporate sesign director at TheLeshnerCorp.,vicepresidentofDesignatExcelHomeFashions,andaeniorvicepresidentofDesignforTown&CountryLiving.Shehasextensiveexperienceinsourcingwithoverseassuppliersandbrandingforupscalemarkets.JerrellholdsaB.A.fromCaliforniaStateUniversitywithadualmajorinhistoryandindustrialdesign.MelissaMcGrawisthecreatorofTheFashionPotentialinwhichsheoffersherconsulting services to fashion students and emerging designers. In 2007, sheco-created thewebsiteWorkchic. Previously, she hasmanagedmillion dollaraccounts including Amazon.com, NeimanMarcus, Calvin Klein Jeans, CynthiaRowley,Rocawear,NicoleMiller,Joe’sJeansandothers.Victoria McShea is currently account support specialist at New HollandApparel.Aprivatelabelmanufacturer,NewHollandoriginatedwithlingerieandbranched out into sports apparel for brands such as Nike, UnderArmour andAdidas.Previously,Vickiewasproductdevelopmentcoordinatorofhighjewelry,finejewelry,andbridalatDavidYurman inNewYorkCityaswellasaproductdeveloper for New Holland. She graduated from Albright College with amerchandisingdegreein2011.SuzannePalmer,J.D.,L.L.M.,isanassistantprofessorofeconomicsandbusinessatAlbright Collegewhere she teaches economics and business law.IntellectualpropertyandfashionlawareamongprofessorPalmer'sresearchinterests.Shereceived her bachelor’s degree from Lafayette College, her law degree fromBostonUniversityandherMasterofLaws inLawandEconomicsfromGeorgeMason University. Prior to her career in academia, she was a corporateattorneyspecializinginbankregulatoryandcomputerlaw.
