Our yurts   – twin , family & tr iple are

beauti ful , l ight spaces and have al l the

comforts of our rooms . You can relax ,

s it on the bench on the f ront patio and

enjoy the view . The yurt has a hot

shower and a toi let r ight next to i t .

The beauti ful bell tents are are large

enough to stand up in and are ful ly

furnished with a chest of drawers ,

bedside table , electr ical

sockets ,  bedside l ights , hanging rai l

and two real beds . There are beauti ful

rugs on the f loor . The built - in mosquito

nett ing wil l keep the bugs out . The

tents share f ive toi lets and three hot

showers next to the Yurt . They are

avai lable f rom May to November .

meals a day la id out buffet style in our

dining room . We are renowned for the

outstanding qual ity of our kitchen .

Our meals are al l vegetar ian and

organic . Some of our products come

from our own permaculture garden .

We can cater for special diets and

advance warning e .g . wheat f ree , gluten

free , vegan , nut al lergies . . .

are ready earl ier . You can arr ive

anytime that suits you . However ,

please arr ive before 9pm .

You wil l need to vacate your room by

11am on your last day . Feel f ree to use

the faci l i t ies during the day i f your

f l ight i s depart ing later .

P O L I C YThe cost of your stay includes taxes ,

accommodation , three meals a day , yoga

classes , wif i and the use our faci l i t ies .  

I f you cancel your booking you wil l be

charged an admin fee of 15% and i f the

cancelat ion happens within two weeks

before your stay you wil l be charged

50%. 

 

Children under 4 can stay f ree in parents ’

room . Children between 4 and 12 are half

pr ice . We can provide highchairs and

cots f ree of charge .

Whilst we welcome chi ldren to Suryal i la

we expect them to be quiet and well

behaved as we are a retreat centre .

Please be aware that we haven ’t taken

safety precautions for young chi ldren ,

and there i s no l i feguard in the pool

area .  

G E T T I N G H E R ETake a bus to our local town – Vil lamart in .

We can pick you up f rom there for a fee of

10€. Buses are cheap and relat ively

airports are : 70€ for a pick up form Jerez ;

90€ f rom Sevi l le ; 150€ f rom Malaga .  

   

Where possible we wil l col lect guests

together so they can spl it the cost .   *Please

pay cash to our drivers and make sure that

you bring euros with you as there i s no

exchange   in Sevi l le or Jerez airport .

    On arr ival you wil l need to bring your

passport / ID card to the off ice (at the

back of the dining room ) to get

registered . This i s a standard hotel

check in process . Please come as soon

as you arr ive .    

ON A ARRIVAL

 We wil l clean your bathrooms and

houses during your stay .   Towels wil l be

provided for you . I f you want your towels

to be changed please place them on your

bed before morning yoga . There are

washing machines in the houses or in

the main area to share . There are also

outdoor washing l ines to dry your

clothes .

charming white vi l lages of Vil lamart in and

Prado del Rey . Nestled serenely in a large

open val ley in the foothi l ls of the Sierra

de Grazelema Natural Park . This majest ic

mountain range can be seen looming

large on the horizon behind Suryal i la . A

str ik ing part of the natural beauty of the

property i s the breathtaking vistas

extending in al l direct ions : rol l ing hil ls ,

f ie lds of sunflowers , and lakes .  

LOCAL AREA 

There are 300 days of sunshine in

Southern Spain and i t i s the warmest

part of Europe . Sometimes you can

even l ie by the pool in January . For a

Please be aware that at Suryal i la we have

a few dogs , chickens ,  alpacas , goats  and

horses on the property .  There are also

some cats but they are not in public

areas .  

ANIMALS 

You can pay by cash or credit card at

Suryal i la . We recommend that you bring

any Euros cash you might need with you

as there i s no money exchange at Sevi l le

or Jerez airports and there i s no faci l i ty to

change money in our local area . There are

ATMs in our local towns i f you need to

withdraw Euros .  

CHANGING MONEY

Please be aware we have a water scarcity

here at Suryal i la and we need your

cooperat ion to conserve water . You can

help us immensely by taking shorter

showers ; f i l l ing the buckets provided in

the bathrooms & reusing by f lushing the

toi lets ; minimise f lushing where

possible .    

CONSERVING WATER

Danyadara (www .danyadara .com )   i s our

non -prof it permaculture project which

includes are vegetable garden , ol ive

groves and a large food forest in the

making . Our intention i s to transform

near desert into productive land using

natural techniques .  

Every week , we offer tours of the project .

OUR PERMACULTURE PROJECT DANYADARA

E X C U R S I O N S    At Suryal i la we have developed a diverse

select ion of tr ip options . To be able to

organise an excursion , we need to have a

minimum of 4 people . Prices range f rom

€25 to €40 per person .
