Loving God —
Reaching People
“If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.” 2 Chronicles 7:14
We love our Youth! ►Lance took our youth on a fun hike on Wednesday, June 3 followed by lunch at Chicken Hut and games at church. ►We were blessed by a beautiful song by Emma Mack on Father’s Day!
Pastor Comer & Patsy are looking forward to “serving alongside us
for the glory of God”!

Psalm 107:1 tells us to
“Give thanks unto the Lord, for He is good; for His mercy endureth forever.” We could
never thank the Lord enough for
the many ways He continues to
help us. Every day new mercies
are given to us as His children,
and this mercy will be extended
as long as we are in this world.
Let’s not forget the majestic
way the Lord leads us along.
We need His presence, His
power, and His peace, and when
we realize His purpose through
all the problems we encounter
we can trust Him more fully.
It is my special blessing to
be a part of First Baptist Church
of Robbins. When the Deacons
asked me to serve as Interim
Pastor, I was much pleased to
say yes. I have known of the
ministry of FBC for a long time. I
have loved and respected the
former Pastors who have given
of themselves to encourage the
membership here at the church,
and for the Robbins Community.
I pray that Patsy and I can be a
blessing to the church family,
can fill the vacancy, and can
serve alongside all of you to
glorify our Lord Jesus.
I would pledge myself to do
everything I can to work with
every member to further the
ministry of First Baptist Church.
My goal would be to help any,
and all to gain in our relationship
with the Lord. We need to pray,
work, give and fulfill our
responsibility to the Lord, we
must stick together and let the
Lord lead us to our goals. The
Lord wants all of us to follow His
lead, and be there for each
other. This is my burden to be
faithful to Him, and to help all of
us to get a better knowledge of
Him. We love Him because He
first loved us (1 John 4:19); let’s
all love Him enough to serve
Him.
Experiencing the pandemic,
and lawlessness of the days we
are living in, behooves us to be
dedicated, as never before, in
our efforts to be real Christians.
We are called upon to be lights
in a dark world (Matthew 5:16)
causing others to see a
difference in our lives, and
leading them to Christ. Let’s all
work toward this goal everyday.
While here, Patsy and I will
pledge ourselves to work
alongside all of you to visit,
preach, and rightly divide the
Word of Truth. Please feel free
to call on us as a particular need
arises.
The early church was
motivated by the leadership of
the preachers, the believers, and
the sacrifices of all the believers.
We have a great open door to
proclaim truth to our community
to offer an answer to the
problems of life through our
knowledge of the Word of God.
We must be faithful to our great
cause, now and as long as we
have opportunity.
Please join the effort, come
to church as often as you can. If
you are afraid, we understand.
Pray much for the Virus to be
contained, so that we can get
back to normal in our church.
The Lord knows our hearts, so
we need to be faithful to Him,
and He will direct our paths
(Proverbs 3:6).
I am so pleased to be able
to work with this great church
family, and hope you will pray
for me in this effort for the Lord.

Hispanic Ministry
Every time I read God’s Word, I’m reminded of His love and greatness. Even in the middle of the pandemic, the Lord continues to bless us in different ways. As we live stream our services, the church members are constantly connecting to hear and learn the will of God for their lives.
We are blessed to be able worship Him from virtually and be encouraged by the Lord to continue being faithful to Him. I definitely know that God will provide our needs according to His will. Pastor: Ernesto Robledo, D. Min.
Cada vez que leo la Palabra de Dios me recuerda de su amor y su grandeza. Aun en
medio de la pandemia, el Señor
continúa bendiciendonos en
diferentes formas. Al llevar a
cabo nuestros servicios virtuales,
los miembros de la Iglesia se
conectan constantemente para
escuchar y cononcer la voluntad
de Dios para sus vidas. Estamos
bendecidos al adorarle
virtualmente y ser motivados a
seguir siendo fieles a él. Yo
definitivamente se que Dios vá a
proveer nuestras necesidades de
acuerdo a su voluntad.

Lance Mauldin
Youth & Children Pastor
Greeting beloved Church Family,
I am so thrilled to be
back inside and worship with
all of you. As you have just
read from Galatians, this is a
sweet reminder to all of us. If
God has rescued you from the
pits of hell, then you are now
living! You are no longer
“dead in your trespasses and
sins.” You are living in light of
God! You now get to enjoy
Him and enjoy The King
forever and ever! It is worth
getting excited about and it’s
worth your life! Now, as you
worship and are filled with
pure joy, go and share this
joy with those around you! Do
not fret or fear man any
longer. Boast in your great,
glorious, and magnificent
King. Amen.
-your humbled Youth and Children’s Pastor Lance Mauldin
Summer Buckets for our Children!
We may not be having Children’s Ministry right now due to the Pandemic … that doesn’t
mean they are forgotten! Churches are getting creative in ways they can show God’s love during these trying times. Lance put together these buckets with
lots of fun summer items as well as the book “Case for Christ for Kids”
Oh, he even included some grahams, marshmallows and
chocolate bars to make s ’mores!
Arnold Comer Interim Pastor
Galatians 2:20
“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I love by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
