WELCOME COMMUNITY PARTNERSThank you for your willingness to work with Nottingham Trent University (NTU) students in a volunteering experience! Volunteering allows students the opportunity to give back to the community, learn new skills, make new friends and experience the wider community they’re studying in. It also allows students to bring what they’re learning into the community. Students often comment that volunteering is their favourite and most meaningful element of their University experience. This has much to do with the fact that you as a Community Partner have the opportunity to contribute to their experience.

WHY BECOME A COMMUNITY PARTNER?There are around 27,000 students at NTU, spread across three campuses: City (NG1 4GH) Clifton (NG11 8NS) and Brackenhurst (NG25 0QF). There’s a variety of subjects taught at NTU, divided into the following schools:

• School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences• School of Architecture, Design and the Built Environment• School of Art & Design• School of Arts and Humanities• Nottingham Business School• School of Education• The Graduate School• Nottingham Law School• School of Science and Technology• School of Social Sciences

NTU students have a wealth of skills, experience and qualifications which your organisation can tap into. NTSU Volunteering will promote your volunteering via its website, buildings, social media, drop ins and other forms of communication.

KEY POLICIESPlease ensure you are familiar with NTSU’s policies particularly those covering:Data protection - Safeguarding - Equality and diversity
