GPEDCSocial dialogue narrative in relevant work streams (i.e. Multi stakeholder partnerships and enabling environment), + monitoring process inputs (indicator 2) + Global Partnership Initiative/GPIs

The ILO development cooperation follows its

normative agenda, which is at the core of the Sustainable

Development Goals. ILO dev coop should keep supporting

the capacity to implement ILS, promoting the conditions for

lasting peace and sustainability;

Full recognition within the UN system/UNDAF at country

level of the role of social dialogue and collective barraging

for regulating labour markets and contribute to SDGs. ILO

development cooperation and DWCPs play a greater role in

UNDAFs. DWCPs are strategically used as a demand-driven

tool for the effective involvement of social partners in

mainstreaming the integrated Decent Work Agenda into

UNDAFs;

What?:• A set of eight principles which tackle development

effectiveness through a trade union focus. • Elaborated by the TUDCN through different consultations

with its members, including the regional organisations of the ITUC and national affiliates.

• Endorsed by the ITUC General Council in February 2011.

Democratic ownership:- Respect for the objectives and priorities democratically

determined by trade union partners- Based on the needs of members and their

organisations.

Autonomy:- Independence from the political strategies of

governments, employers and international donors- Safeguard needs, interests and priorities, which ensue

from democratic processes with membership.

- Central America and the Caribbean 2014- South America 2015- Africa 2016- East Africa 2017

→ 6 SSOs have used TUDEP with 42 different partners in: Africa: Benin, Burundi, Burkina Faso, the DRC, Côte d'Ivoire, Guinea, Kenya, Niger, Rwanda, Senegal, South Africa, TogoAsia-Pacific: Cambodia, India, Indonesia, PalestineAmericas: Brazil, Colombia, Cuba, Haiti, Peru.
