DRESS RESPECTFULLY – Take Pride in your Appearance
Inappropriate logos and slogans are not allowed.
Pants must be worn at the waist.
Clothing that is excessively tight such as spandex/lycra must be worn with a
dress, skirt, or shirt that is at least at mid-thigh.
Shoes must be worn at all time --(CANNOT WEAR: house shoes, shower shoes,
slippers, etc.)
No hats, caps, doo-rags, wave caps, bandanas or hoods worn indoors (required
religious head coverings not included).
Shorts and skirts should be no shorter than 3” above the knee.

Attendance Policy – To receive credit or a final grade in a class, you must attend at least 90 percent of the days the class is offered. When you are absent from school, —upon arrival or within five school days of returning to school— you must bring a note signed by your parent/guardian that describes the reason for your absence. This applies per class, per semester.
Leaving School Early – You must bring a signed note from a parent/guardian and turn it into the attendance office in the morning. REMEMBER – You MUST sign out with attendance anytime you leave – if not, your absence will be unexcused.

Truancy Policy– any unexcused absence will be considered a truancy.
Students arriving late must sign in at the attendance office
Truancy offenses can be referred to the truancy court of Fort Bend County.

Cell Phones are allowed during passing periods and lunch and all
common areas before and after school.
Responsible Cell Phone Use in Your Classes:
• Cell phone use should be restricted to educational purposes as instructed by classroom teacher.
• When not in use, phones should be on silent.
• Secure your phones, stolen phones are often not recovered – andadministrators and police officers do not have to investigate.

Travis is a CLOSED campus. You may not leave for lunch.
Please help our custodians by picking up after yourself at lunch. Throw away your things in the trash cans provided.
If your parents deliver you a lunch – it MUST – be dropped off in the front office. To pick it up – you MUST have your ID.

PARKING IS A PRIVILEGE
You MUST have a PERMIT to park on campus
PARKING is in the front lot only
Do not park in a reserved spot – even if the car is not there – it MAY be there soon!!
After August 28, 2017 – cars without parking permits – VISIBLE – will be booted –
SPEED LIMIT in the parking lot is 5 MPH – BE SAFE
Parking permit application is on-line
Failure to meet these expectations could result in loss of your parking privilege or further disciplinary consequences.

BEFORE SCHOOL:
In the morning before 1st period you can attend tutorials with a pass from your teacher or a parent, sit at in the commons, outside on the patio or go to the library with your ID.
AFTER SCHOOL:
After school-you can only be here if you are in practice or with acoach, sponsor or attending a tutorial.
You can not hang out in commons-you must leave by 2:55 p.m.

• Build strong academic, mathematical, and critical thinking skills bytaking challenging courses
• Update your 4-year plan each year in Naviance
• Gain an understanding of high school graduation requirements andcollege entrance requirements
