First 30-1

This is a course designed for those of you that are going to University.

It is a hard class that will require a lot of work. If you are not planning on going to University

perhaps you should think about Social 30-2.

You will have 4 Major Tests. 1 Midterm. 3-4 Essays (both in Class and Takehome) As well as quizzes and small assignments.

Finally, a 50% diploma.

Ideology translates to the science or study of ideas. However, ideology tends to refer to the way in which people think about the world and their ideal concept of how to live in the world.

This course talks about a lot of controversial issues and ideas.

Some, if not all of you, will have different opinions and I like that.

Ideology: A system of thoughts based on beliefs and values.

We all fall in a line with a mix of both. Collectivism - Putting the needs of the
